*** Shaw's billing is confusing and questionable Shaw either has people in their billing department that don't know what they are doing, or they do their bills that way to intentionally confuse people as to what they are paying for (but sometimes not even getting) I dread making any changes to my service with them (even cancelling a promo), because the billing really gets mixed up then and it becomes an ongoing lengthy battle with Shaw to get it straightened out, if ever They will never admit to their error or back down with their unbelievable excuses I have recently cancelled getting online billing from Shaw because I have so much distrust of their billing practices At least when I receive a paper bill it is impossible for Shaw to alter it and I have it as reference when needed - on the paper from them When talking to anyone from Shaw on the phone re problems, they give one excuse after another in hopes that they can convince the customer that they are not understanding where the problem is Shaw has not acknowledged the payment of my November bill and this continues to create problems in the billings since then They have also added on a few extra dollars for who knows what, which brings the total to $"owing" every month! *** The rep on the phone tried telling me she "found the reason" "it goes back to and that's why you haven't had a $balance since then ..."*** I have my paper bills going back to and there is a $balance on every single invoice, except for one time and once again that was Shaw's inaccurate information re an internet speed change and their billing mistakeThat was in Aug, Sept, and Oct of I reported the payment amount I had made and the Shaw rep agreed to accept that as the correct payment, and she supposedly made a note of it so that Shaw would see what happened in their billing errors But the Shaw billing hassle continued for awhile after that*** *** *** *** *** *** As soon as my ridiculous year service agreement is up with them in I will not be a Shaw customer for a moment longer

Have been extremely confused with shaw's billing style and have had to call them three times for the monthly bill.... at first I thought it was me after speaking with my neighbor and finding out that they cancelled shaw for their confusing/questionable billing style. I called to cancel our cable and internet choosing to keep the landline phone service. Well two days later they called while I was out and spoke with my wife offering her a discount on the internet and free cable for 90 days with more channels than we had on our previous set up. Well.... [redacted] not sure how but our bill is now more than when we were paying for all three so we got a discount for the phone and a lesser internet rate for a lower speed service and free cable and our bill is more than it was previously!?!?!?!!!!!! how do they figure that we dont rent on demand movies or make long distance calls.... so after two calls and more confusion I am once again cancelling shaw cable and will gladly do without just so we dont have to deal with shaw cable. hope you all have better luck than we did.
