Contract was entered into for the following (1) to install 7 Perma Jack Piers in laundry Room area; (2) Replace rooted joist as necessary in laundry room & Hallway at master Bedroom (3) Lift floor to as close as possible to a level condition (4) Replace wood decking as necessary in repaired area $12,500. Option #1 install laminate flooring in Kitchen, and Den area Total $3,500. Option #1 changed to 12 mm with padding in the Den, dinning room, hallway, and master bedroom. Placing Porcelain tile in kitchen, laundry area, and hot water heater area Total $4,700. Total for complete job $17,200. Contacted [redacted] and informed him we are still experiencing issues with the flooring in the master bedroom and kitchen entrance way from the dining room and the hallway. More specifically, the floor in the master bedroom is squeaking really badly and it shakes when you walk on it. The shaking and squeaking are most noticeable in the area from the door and going toward the master bathroom. Also, the grout is coming a loose from around the tile in the entranceway to the kitchen from the bathroom. The hallway has some soft spots and there's an area in the dinning room, where the china hutch is located is shaking as well.The squeaking and shaking of the floor was discussed with Mr [redacted] upon his walk through on Monday, Dec 22, 2014, he stated that the squeaking was coming from crushed ducks, which we have had repaired. After the repairs, the squeaking is stilled there. Also, in regards to the floor shaking, he ([redacted]) stated that the floor would not collapse to the ground, to which I stated that it appears that the sub-flooring was not done correctly or that it isn't the proper thickness. Bottom line, the floor should not be shaking. We paid the remaining balance and I told Mr. [redacted] that I would be contacting you if the problem werent resolved. Additionally, we contracted to have all rotten wood replaced that was in the area impacted by the water damage, which includedDesired SettlementIn addition to calling me to schedule a time to repair the deficiencies, I would like for the contractor to come back and correct/repair the deficiencies noted. We do not warrant shaking florrs. The softness in the floors is caused from the type floor chosen by the owner. All rotted wood included in our contract has been replaced.We will send out the tile contractor to repair the grout issue
