Review: At or around 5:30pm, me and my friend pulled into Shawn's shop n go gas station for the purpose of me putting gas as the gas was a cheaper price of the other gas stations in the area at $3.029 and I was on empty. As I proceeded inside to pay, the attendant, "[redacted]", was on his phone while tending to customer's, I then hand him a $5 bill and $4 in quarters to put $9 in gas on pump number 4. I then proceed to remove my gas cap and insert the pump into my tank, press the fuel grade, and lift the lever to put gas, after a couple of squeezes of the handle, no gas was coming out nor was the pump's electronic LCD screen moving. The pump was clearly not engaged from the attendant [redacted]'s register. So I then go inside and tell him that the gas is not on, he then asks me how much I put, I then respond, $9 and that I gave him a $5 bill and $4 in quarters. I then attempt to put my $9 in gas like before, and it gives me $1 and stops. I then go inside yet again, and tell him it stopped at $1, he then tells me that I already put the $8, so I then explain to him calmly, and he just keeps arguing with me and saying that maybe my gas gauge is broken! He then gives me a receipt showing that of $8 and one of $1. I then proceed outside to take pictures of my gas gauge, and of the gas pumps LCD, to show him that if I supposedly pumped $8, then my gas gauge would not still be on the E sign. I showed him and still no avail, as well as telling him even though his "computer" said I pumped the gas, there was not $8 of gas in my tank, there was only $1. He then was recording me without my knowledge until I asked him. I told him I just want my gas even after I apologized for getting upset he kept telling me my gas gauge was broken. I responded that if my gas gauge was broken, how would I have known I needed gas, and that I would have stalled out if my gas gauge was broken. There's no telling how many other people were getting ripped of by him or the gas pump. Please help me, I don't think that's fair that they can get away with that, even if it were his personal error.Desired Settlement: $8 cash, since the gas there is cheap, it's probably bad, so I'll just get the money owed to me.
