someone phones in and personally gives it to us. According to law all credit card numbers that reach us are encrypted and we cannot see any of them. This situation can be confirmed by our web store provider who themselves would be in huge trouble if those credit card numbers ever left their servers. It was explained to her that there are a multitude of hackers who steal thousands of credit card numbers over the internet every day. Our card numbers have been stolen many times while shopping from other reputable websites. Out of the thousands of orders that we serve every year, and out of more than 100,000 that we have served in since our founding, we regret that sadly on occasion a few card numbers may be intercepted over the internet.If you have any questions, please let us know.Best Regards,

Review: I made a purchase with this company and my credit card number was stolen. The unethical employee attempted to make a purchase with my credit card information. The business is located in Sterling, VA and the day after I made the purchase from the company, my credit card company alerted me that someone had attempted to make charges on my card in the same town. Since I am located in the western U.S. and do not know anyone in the entire state of Virginia, I can easily conclude what happened. Also, I'd like to point out that the same thing has happened to other Shea Terra Organics customers. After this ordeal, I searched for information on this company and found many unfavorable reviews, with some of them experiencing the same thing I did.Desired Settlement: I think Shea Terra Organics needs to implement better employee screening procedures. I also believe that management should take better precautions regarding their customer's information.
