This all started with an Instagram post, user name (***)The business was advertising a free hair cut including color and style service if people followed thingsThe post said to tag a friend and set up an appointment by the end of the day to qualifyI shared the post with a friend and followed up with her and we agreed on a dayOn the day of my appointment I even mentioned receiving everything for free and she never corrected meBy the end of the session I was even giving her a well enough tip for her time and everything but declined my offering and told me it would be $for the serviceI was a bit confused and explained that the post said WITH (meaning included) but argued that the post was promoting ONLY a free hair cut WHEN setting up a hair color and style service, which the post did not explainI expressed my concern to her and I believe it was not heard but was blamed for the whole situation instead
By the the end of that day I was very disappointed not on

This is the first complaint notice that we got and I am writing to you right awayI will attach the Instagram promo code she is referring to and allow you to see for yourself that it does not say INCLUDINGThis is exactly what it says " a FREE hair cut with a color and style
serviceI had other clients use the promotion and not question it at allI apologized for the miscommunication and even offered her a few days to make the full payment and that takes a lot of trust from me because for all I know she could not have came back to give me the full amountI explained to her that I would never want to mislead her with money because that's not good business for me and it puts me in a awkward situationMy salons policy is not to give refunds, but to keep working on their hair until they are happyIn my opinion she left happy and loving her hair, just confusedWhen I talked to her after it came to her attention that not everything was for free I apologized for the misunderstandingIn speaking to her she even claimed that "I should have known it wasn't all free, it was to good to be trueI just got excited and jumped the gun." I truly hope this helps clear up the situation and shows that I was nothing but nice, respectful, professional, and apologetic to my client. Thank you
