Review: 10-6My daughter had her hair done at shear talent salon and it was awful and not at all like the foto she presented to the stylist.thru the appointment it was obvious the stylist was struggling getting anxious and didn't seem able to make that style nor any style.I felt bad for her because she really looked like she needed help. the front was a thick cornrow braid-the back looked like a slightly off center birds nest and [redacted] looked like a drowned rat her hair was so tight to her head-yet when finished,she asked [redacted] if she liked it"sure" was her answer.when she asked me I didnt I respond as I was on my way to the counter to talk about the style. the salon was FULL and her next appointment was at the front desk. WE DID NOT WANT TO EMBARRASS STYLIST as she really tried and worked hard but really must have been in over her head. we left and I called back to talk privately on the phone so I didn't embarrass [redacted] to see if someone could at least fix front.I was told no one had anytime to do so and that they were booked.so my daughter in tears was a mess, we took fotos and called a friend who took the whole thing out and redid it and I paid her 40$. I asked to talk do manager and they told me call tomorrow to talk to [redacted], who was incidentally [redacted]'s mom. mon-[redacted] not available. talked tues and was told no refunds given and I should have complained right away,and this was a lesson for MY daughter(who we teach not to be hurtful of others or embarrass them)and she was less than gracious. asked to talk to owner and she said she would talk to him. she called back in ?2 days or so said she talked to the other stylists and they thought hair was fine-although they were all working on their own clients (which we recommended to come to salon..4 clients) and the owner said no refund. I asked [redacted] for owners name and number or to have him call me as I would like to plead my case for a partial refund and she said she would tell him but he wouldn't call me back more than likely. and he has NOT!Desired Settlement: I to get at least a partial refund,I paid a 20 deposit,45$ at salon and again not to prevent embarrassment for [redacted] and she did work hard,and I respect her efforts gave her a 10$ tip TOTAL 75$.we came home,and took fotos of the hairstyle,and then took fotos of it being redone,(so they didn't think I was lying) and also of the end result.I then paid my daughters friend 40$ for her time of 1.5 hours to redo the whole mess. I would like refund and to talk to owner to talk about the situation.
