Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I have recently received the video that does show any sign that the actual scan was done at my address I have reached out to the 3rd party asking them to provide me with receipt of payment and show that they actually did the said work I am waiting for them to check their records to see if they did the video scanAs for the actual work, Shearer did not reveal to seller or to myself that they hired a 3rd party to do the work and provided us an invoice stating Shearer completed the scan Additionally, Shearer did not attempt to get a the video scan until after we had hired a plumber to come out and actually clean out the pipes that Shearer did not actually do as stated on their invoice and until after we filed a complaint with the Revdex.com and *** ** *** As for the roof repairs, we have documentation showing that the roof repairs were to be completed by a licensed roof and after the first rain it is evident that Shearer did complete the patch to code and should be honoring their work At this point I would like to make people aware that Shearer does not stand behind their work Also to this date I have still not had contact with an employee of Shearer, they used a third party to send me the video scan which again is very alarming to me
Regards,
*** ***

We at Shearer Construction had completed the work in question for the seller.  The sewer camera video was acquired utilizing a third party - [redacted], whom we always use for our sewer line scoping.  This video has been submitted to the buyer as requested via e-mail....

This sewer line was also machined to clear stoppage.  We had not refused to supply the video, we simply had not acquired the disc until recent and were having issues converting it to an electronic file to send to the buyer.  The buyer has claimed that we had not done the work that was requested by the seller which is absolutely false.  The information provided by another plumber, [redacted] is inaccurate as they claimed that the sewer line was unable to be filmed, though we were able to per the video recording. The video can be retrieved from our company at any time. In regards to the roof repair, after this minor roof repair was performed using the standard materials for white coated roofs the property was inspected and approved to the best of our knowledge. We are in disagreement that the buyer should be compensated as the work performed was completed for the seller.  We did not have a contract with the buyer and any complaints should be forwarded to the seller. If there are any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our office at ###-###-#### or on my cell phone directly at ###-###-####, as I was the individual who performed the work in question.  We would like to resolve this complaint as soon as possible as to not tarnish our perfect Revdex.com rating.
