I am writing to you this morning in response to *** *** complaint on 10/04/with ID#***I first want to start off and say that we did take too much time processing this loanHowever, there are several factors that played a role in this happeningFirst and foremost we use a
separate vendor that inputs loan applications for usOnce they send over our applications we have a primary lender take a look at these loansThe individual that does this at our financial institution is related to *** and could not process her applicationWe then had to send the information over to another lender who works part time and had vacationI once again do take responsibility for this loan taking so longI do see that *** was approved for an $11,unsecured loanSheboygan Area Credit Union does offer unsecured loans for this amount however, we review multiple factors (debt to income, current unsecured balances, credit score, payment history, etc.) before approving them after our outside vendor approves themAfter reviewing the loan documents, *** had stated that she was unmarried in her applicationWe then had to go and change her application and collect additional information taking more timeOnce we went ahead and added in her husbands information, she was no longer approved for an unsecured loan of this amount due to the amount of unsecured debt they have combinedWe still wanted to help *** out with her loan so we did ask for collateral of her vehicle she just purchasedWe did go ahead and approve her loan with the car and had the Dietrich family come in and sign everything on 09/23/We did not submit any paperwork to the DMV until 09/29/We do have the current title listing us as the Lien holder also dated 09/29/I do not know the date of the letter *** received from the DMV but we did not add ourself as a lien holders until after we had signatures on her loan and it was booked on our systemI am more than willing to provide copies of the title and paperwork showing the date of 09/29/as well as her initial application showing her status as unmarried Sheboygan Area Credit Union will be waiving the fee for the title of $20.If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to let me know.Thanks!*** ***
