I was not paid, but after I posted that they did not pay me on their [redacted] page, as well as call every extension at their office...

explaining how I complained to the Revdex.com about them, they finally paid the mere $180 they owed me.

Review: on 06/**/2014 I purchased by website four tickets for total of $40.00. Tickets were to an event called sheckys ladies night out. The event was canclled by Sheckys. Sheckys issued a noticed of cancelation by email event for 10/**/2014 , in email it said to call credit company for refund. I did do that, however credit card company refuses because over 90 days and told me I have to contact Sheckys for them to approve the refund. The phone numbers listed on bill and on white pages do not work. I have tried emailing without ever being responded to.Desired Settlement: I am seeking full refund amount of $40.00 that I have paid

Review: First issue, we were told that whoever was in charge miscounted the granola bars we were supposed to be given on the way. Fine, at this point this is not a huge deal. [redacted], our hostess, insured us we'd eat as soon as we got to the first winery. Because of the lack of a PA system on the bus every time she spoke anyone from the center of the bus to the back could not hear her at all. When we reached Baiting Hollow we were told we were bus number 3 and to get back on bus number 3. We drank our 3 tiny sips of wine and eat our dry sandwiches and not 30 minutes later buses were lining up again. We waited like we were told for bus number 3, but when we boarded it was already full. There were people on our bus that were not suppose to be and because they would not say who they were, my group along with another that was most definitely suppose to be on that bus got split up. After sitting in at least 30 minutes of traffic plus regular travel time to the next winery, we were told we were running late therefore switching wineries and going to Duckwalk instead of Laurel Lakes. Because of the confusion on the buses and the traffic we arrived at Duckwalk much later than we were suppose to. Then we were told we would have to go in bus by bus because Duckwalk had a 50 person limit. While we were waiting we had to stay outside in the rain. This process took so long that being we were the third bus, we never got to go in the winery. We left to go straight to the Shecky's event. One bus had a roach, two had no AC, and one had the bathroom pad locked. Hence why everyone was on bus 3 when they were not suppose to be and would not get off. But even at this, the icing on the cake was when I ran into the "owner" of Shecky's at the end of the day. I explained some of the issues and mentioned a petition all three buses signed. His response was literally, "So, what."Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for all 7 tickets purchased. I did not receive complete items paid for.

Review: I worked with this company in Atlanta on 11/**/13 and 11/**/13. There was an event called [redacted]'s [redacted] Night Out. They have not paid me what I am owed for working the event as a brand ambassador. I actually don't think they paid any of the individuals that worked. They owe me $180 for those two days.Desired Settlement: I am owed $180. I have waited for at least 4months and have not been paid. This is unacceptable. I think they should pay me a settlement of $3000 for pain and suffering because that's what I'll be asking for in court.. They should also pay all of those people who were not paid. It has to be over 100 people because they hold this event in many cities more than once per year. My next step will be to file a lawsuit..

Review: On Sept **,2013 at 1253 pm, I responded to an ad on [redacted] regarding a position to work as a "Check In Girl" for a Sheckys event loated at DAR Constitution Hall from 4-9pm on Sept **,2014. I communicated with [redacted] via email and he stated that the event would be a "6hr gig for $15/hr". I inquired when I would be paid and he said that he submits paperwork the following Monday and I would be paid a week or so after the event. It is the [redacted] of October and I have still not been paid. I have emailed [redacted] several times regarding this matter. A week or so after the event, he stated that the check had been mailed, after patiently waiting for this mysterious $90 check to appear in my mailbox, I received nothing. I then contacted the Shecky's office and spoke to [redacted]. She advised me to email, payments @ Sheckys and to send [redacted] an email because he was out of the office. This typically went on for several weeks before I was able to speak with [redacted] who gave the impression that he was handling the matter. Oct [redacted] and several times in between I have emailed [redacted], spoke to [redacted] , attempted to contact [redacted] regarding this matter and by the time I spoke with [redacted] again, he was rude, short and had the most casual time Ive ever heard from a Business Representitive, as if to say, "Yea well, you know how these things go, I filed the paperwork it so.. " is how I interpreted his tone, still with no definitive answer as to when I would be paid.Desired Settlement: To be paid the $90 that I worked for as soon as possible.

Review: I purchased 3 tickets in advance in August of 2014 to a Sheckys Girls Night Event in [redacted] which was to be held on October [redacted] and [redacted] of 2014. I paid for the 3 tickets on my debit card $40.28. I received an email the day of the event and this is the exact email sent word for word:

Dear Ticket Buyer,

Unfortunately we have been forced to postpone The [redacted] Event on October [redacted] & [redacted] until further notice due to unforeseen circumstances. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. As we want to make sure you receive a refund in the most timely manner, we suggest that you cancel the charge with your credit card company. Unfortunately, we are a small staff and are not able to process the number of transactions in a timely manner as they are all done manually. We apologize again for this inconvenience.

It is now February [redacted] 2015 and I have still not received my refund of $ 40.28. I have tried to contact them via email and phone and have received no response at all ever. My credit card has told me that Sheckys would have to release the funds in order for my credit card company to return my money to me. I have not been able to reach a human being at all they do not answer their phones nor call anyone back and do not return any of my emails. This has been ongoing for months now and I would like my money back. They are very unprofessional and uncourteous to their clients. It was very easy for them to process my transaction when I was giving them money they were not small staffed at that time but now that they have to return money to me due to the postponement of their event they have all disappeared and do not have the decency to respond nor contact me at all.Desired Settlement: I am hoping that with the help of the Revdex.com I will kindly be refunded the charges to my card. I am also hoping that no one else would have to go through what I have these past months nothing but stress and headaches this is unfair to me and my family. I also hope that with this complaint being made Sheckys will become A better business!

Review: In September 2014 I placed an order for tickets to an event and the order was promptly processed. A month later I received an email that the event was cancelled and I was responsible for obtaining a refund through my bank myself as they are a small company. (See email message below).

I contacted my bank and was told that they cannot refund the money to me since ti was paid w/a debit card & the vendor has to issue the refund themselves. I have tried multiple times since October to get in touch w/Shecky's Live through their website and via email but have received no response other than an automated one that says they will get back to me within 24 hours (see message below).

Review: Shecky's provides a "Girl's Night Out" in many cities across the US. I have participated before. I purchased 3 tickets for an upcoming event in [redacted], **. One week before the event, I looked up information and found out that the event was canceled. They said they would send an email regarding refunds. Now, it seems that they have canceled ALL of the events across the US for the months of November and December. Not only have I emailed them several times, but the phone number that is listed on their website is not a valid number. I am worried that they have simply run away with the funds. Review: Shecky's is a local NYC company, and produced an event in Los Angeles, where I live. I was hired as a Brand Ambassador for a one night event on 5/**/2013. I was told that I would receive payment within 30 days of the job, filled out tax forms, handed over personal information such as my social security number, and have yet to be paid. I have called multiple times, only to be talked down to by the payroll company. I was "reassured" that checks were "going out" next week, and the last time I heard this was about a month ago in mid July. I am owed $137.50 and expect full payment.Desired Settlement: Payment of $137.50, the full amount I am owed.

Review: My name is [redacted] and on 12/** I purchased 3 tickets in two separate transactions ($10.58 and 21.15) to attend the Girls Night Out in DC. However, the location was changed and I did not get the email. I spoke with [redacted] via telephone on May. He apologized for the inconvenience and explained that since I had purchased my tickets so far in advance they could not issue my a credit card refund, but would have to issue a paper check within 2 weeks. When I did not receive the check I called his office and left a message and an email on 6/**. I left two more messages and sent one more email to no avail.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the amount I paid for my tickets issued back to my credit card immediately.

Review: I purchased two tickets to their Dallas Girls' Night Out for Dallas Fall 2014. I was charged $28.15. I went to their site before the event and saw the following: [redacted] which states the event was cancelled and I would receive an email. I never received an email or my money back. The event was for 11/**/14. I made several phone calls and left messages with no response. I eventually called and the # was out of service. I also emailed them several times with no response.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the tickets.

Review: On December *, 2012 I had purchased two tickets to a "Girls Night Out" event which was to be held on April **, 2013 at Constitution Hall in Washington D.C. for $21.15 including tax. Upon arriving to the event location on April **, 2013, there was no event being held by Shecky's. A service employee at DAR Constitution Hall had informed us that the particular event we were there to attend had in fact been held the week prior. After checking the Shecky's website it was clear that the event had already been held. I spoke with customer service twice about this particular issue and was told that I would be receiving a refund, and that at the last minute the event date had to be pushed up (in which I had received no notification of such action.) After receiving no refund, I contacted Shecky’s by e-mail twice and received no response at all.Desired Settlement: This business has a responsibility to refund my money in full.
