I purchased a brand new 2015 nissan sentra less than 3 months ago. The transmission already had to be replaced on this vehicle. This car barely has several thousand miles on it, and needed a new transmission. When I went to the dealership, they said there is nothing we can do and to contact nissan. Funny how when I was buying the car, they were all helpful and talked about this award and that award, however, when they sold me a lemon, there is nothing they can do.
NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THESE GUYS. They are a bunch of crooks.

Review: In Feb 2012, I was the co-signer of a 2008 Nissan Altima that was purchased at Sheehy Nissan of Manassas. In May of 2013 the owner decided that we were going to part ways and he would no longer pay for that vehicle. I went to Sheehy and asked what were my options of getting his name off of the car and not ruining my credit. ** the salesman explained that I should purchase a new car with a rebate to rid some of the negative equity. On May 14 2013, I purchased a 2013 Nissan Altima, again from Sheehy Nissan of Manassas. Approxiametly a month later, I received a call from Sheehy stating that they needed the original owner's signature to sell the 2008 vehicle. I explained to them that I had no contact and that there were legal issues pending between the two of us. I gave the last know work number and she said that she would contact him. Two days later, I called Sheehy and was told that he would be coming in that week to sign the documents. A month or so goes by and I get another call from Sheehy stating that they haven't heard from him and they were going to add the trade value to the new vehicle. I explained to them that I did not understand due to my contract being signed and that I had the car for almost 3 months. On Oct 3, 2013, I received a call from [redacted] (2008 financed) stating that they were instructed by Sheehy to re-open the account for the 2008 vehicle. I have been going back and forth with Sheehy and [redacted] to rectify this situation. The contract was based upon the trade of the 2008. Altimately, Sheehy made a huge mistake by letting me take the 2013 car off the lot without the proper documention. I didn't steal the car and should not be held accountable for the dealer's mishap.Desired Settlement: I will return the 2013 and retrieve the 2008 with no further obligations to the 2013. The purchase was based upon the trade of the 2008 therefore the contract should be null and void.

Review: Our 2009 Nissan Altima Hybrid was in for repairs that were being recalled by the Nissan corporation. While our car was in the Manassas Sheehy Nissan dealership we were informed that the right strut was leaking. There had been no prior evidence of problems with the car's suspension. We authorized the repair. Upon receipt of the car we noticed a noise coming from the suspension. We returned the vehicle for repair of the suspension and were told the left strut was defective and it would be replaced. Again, upon receipt of the car we noticed the same noise coming from the suspension. At this point we inspected the work on the struts and noticed significant rust on multiple places on the struts that were supposed to be new. We returned the vehicle with questions about the previous 'repair' and were only then told that they had replaced the struts with after market non-Nissan parts. We had not authorized or even been informed that after market parts had been used. We had been charged over $900 for the first repair, which was reasonable for Nissan parts. Now the dealership wants to charge us more than $600 for the new Nissan parts we paid for at the beginning.Desired Settlement: We would like the correct new Nissan parts installed that we originally paid for. If that is not an option we will accept a full refund of the original charge and get the faulty struts the Manassas Sheehy Nissan dealership installed replaced somewhere else.

Review: I purchased a vehicle from Sheehy Nissan in December 2012. I sold it on May 22nd and was looking to get a refund of the unused prorated amount that I paid for the Sheehy VIP Club. The original price paid was $885.00 plus taxes of $22.13. I called them today and requested such refund and was told that I was not eligible for any refund because I had used it. I used the program to get two oil changes, and one tire rotation. Needless to say, the service department at Sheehy Nissan was terrible at best. I did make them aware of this and also expressed it on my survey I received from Nissan USA. The service manager can confirm this and even discussed directly with me.

Since the customer service was so terrible, I did not look forward to returning to Sheehy for continued service under the VIP program or any manufacture warranty repairs. On both of my visits, I had to ask for the car wash that was supposed to be included in each visit (asked the cashier for the coupon).

At the time of purchase, I was told that I would get free oil changes, tire rotations and free car washes. I was also told that I could cancel it and get a refund if I ever sold by car.

What I ended up getting was the following:

Free Oil Change - Not really free: Required extra $20 since my car uses synthetic oil. This was not explained by the sales rep or the finance person that did the paperwork.

Tire Rotation - Done once

Car Wash - Given a coupon for a third party company to wash the exterior of my vehicle. I had to pay the company extra to vacuum it and dry the car.

I strongly believe Sheehy Nissan of Manassas did not in good faith fully explain the benefits and terms of their VIP club. Only after the purchase I found out that the benefits were very limited and required add'l expense for services/benefits that I thought were included. Sales never expressed the fact that I had to pay extra for oil changes, car washes and the fact that I would be unable to recover any amount paid if I used the program.

While in the finance office at the time of purchase, the finance person offered the VIP Club and I respectfully declined it. He called and spoke to the sales manager and went ahead and included in the purchase of the car. I originally thought they included it for free; however I realized they charged me for this after reviewing the purchase order. What they ended up doing was raising the total price of the car, while lowering the finance rate to keep the monthly payment the same.Desired Settlement: At the least, I would like a refund of the prorated unused amount of the VIP club or a refund less the two oil changes they performed.

Review: I first visited Manassas Sheehy on Monday, May 24th, , 2013. We were shopping for vehicles as our current lease with Toyota Camry is ending in a few months. We are in need of 2 vehicles (a SUV and a sedan).

We were hoping to start with a Nissan Altima, but were very impressed with the Nissan Pathfinder and upgraded our search to the Pathfinder. The dealership couldn’t meet our price and hence, we left in amicable conditions. The associate was kind enough to follow up with me over the next couple of days and proposed a couple of options. We re-visited the dealership on 31st of May 2013. We finally agreed to the price and signed the initial paper work. The price we agreed to was $30,500 for a Red Pathfinder SL. During our discussions with the Associate, we mentioned several times the need for 0% APR for 3 years. The Associate even showed us a chart that had the various options (0% for 3 years, 0.9 for 5 years, 1.9 for 6 years etc.). We clearly expressed interest several times that we were only interested in the 0%.

After signing the initial paper work, we were handed off to the Finance Department representative for processing the paper work. The rep informed us that while we have excellent credit, we were not eligible for the 0% and had to pay 2.9% for 72 months, otherwise we will lose our $1000 discount. This is where I got really frustrated and left the dealership in disappointment.

1. I repeatedly insisted and was promised 0% APR for 3 years. In fact, I request a 0% for 5 years and was told that was not an option. So, I settled with 0% for 3 years. They had adverstised on their website that they would give 0% for 36 months for qualified buyers

2. Yesterday (May 31st) was my birthday and my daughter’s 4th birthday. The associate I was dealing with knew this and in spite of that we spent 3.5 hours at the dealership trying to work out a deal. I wasted about 4 hours of valuable time on an important day and returned empty handed and dealership DID NOT back its commitment.

3. The discount on the invoice was $2000. It was not itemized. So, how did the finance agent say I’ll have to lose $1000 of the discount, otherwise I won’t get the 0% APR I was originally promised.

4. The associate (while being courteous and patient with us for the most part), told us he mentioned this to us. This is not accurate at all. We discussed several times about the financing options. 2.9% was never discussed. We repeatedly discussed 0% only.

5. The lady from Finance said she was going to talk to her manager and get back to us, after hearing from us our dis-satisfaction, but never returned, though she saw me leave the dealership.

6. When I passed in frustration, nobody bothered to even come by as a courtesy to check what the issue was. Hence, I walked out. May be you guys met your monthly log numbers and my transaction was not in the best interest of your dealership anymore.

7. I wasted 7 hours this dealership and all I got was a missed birthday of mine and my 4 year old's, hours of discussing, a commitment that was not met and some made up stories and an un-courteous management (except the sales associate). I could have spent this time celebrating my daughter’ 4th birthday.

8. I’m saddened and disappointed that these guys tried to pull these cheap tricks on me.Desired Settlement: Follow up with me and meet what was agreed upon

Review: Sheehy Nissan delivered a "Spot Delivery" or "Yo-Yo Scam" and now are calling me back to "sign a new contract" for my new vehicle.

I have already signed a contract. They are telling me that is it not valid. I need to sign a new one. They are telling me that the car is still owned by them (Which is false, since it's in my name) And I am sick and tired of their scam. I am not falling for it and they keep calling and calling. I will not allow them to scam me. I do not want them to scam another poor consumer.

They want to take my new car back, but I told them no. I am legally bound to the original contract that I signed and so are they. I will not allow them to do this.Desired Settlement: I want an apology. I want them to keep my original contract that I am forced to follow, but not them?

I want EVERYONE to know that they are SCAMMING people who they think are weak and they do shady business.
