Regarding this complaint,
I ran out of time dealing with thisI am just now getting around to checking the message from the Revdex.comIn understand the complaint is now closed but that the complaint itself will remain with the Revdex.com regarding Sheehy VW for a period of three yearsI am happy to learn about this.
I will not do business with Sheehy VW beginning now or in the futureI will take my business elsewhere
If I can make time, I will submit a letter to VW of America about my experience with Sheehy
Thanks to all,

We are sorry to learn of Mr. [redacted] dissatisfaction. For the record Mr. [redacted] purchased the original battery from Volkswagen of Springfield a company that went bankrupt shortly thereafter. All the original records of that company were either destroyed or disposed of. Once Mr. [redacted] was able to...

produce his original record we were happy to honor the warranty per Volkswagens policy. We apologize if the staff of Volkswagen of Springfield may have over promised the terms or details of Volkswagens battery warranty. The Battery came with a 5 year prorated warranty. Installation labor is covered only during the first 24 months of the warranty. Since the battery was at 30 months of the 60 month warranty the prorate charge was 50% of the retail price of $132. Please note we also reduced the cost of our normal battery installation of $75 to $38 in an effort to assist Mr. [redacted] with the expense. !'m not sure where Mr. [redacted] bases his claims of breach of contract, deception or fraud. His replacement battery was honored with the full extent of Volkswagen's replacement battery warranty. It is my opinion that Sheehy Volkswagen made the proper and appropriate warranty claim and we consider this issue closed however if in your review there are questions we would be happy to address any and all concerns of the Revdex.com.Respectfully,
Pete D'[redacted]Service DirectorCC. [redacted] K [redacted]

Dear [redacted],
We are sorry to learn of [redacted]'s dissatisfaction. On November 17, 2015 we...

performed a routine oil change and during that wisit we found that the front brake pads were worn to the service limit. We advised [redacted] of the condition. He was very quick to point out that we had done the previous brake replacement 30,000 miles ago. It was his opinion that this was entirely too soon to warrant replacement again and it must have been due to inferior workmanship and or inferior parts. Nothing in our diagnosis could support his statement. We find front brake life on Volkswagen [redacted] vehicles operated in our area averages about 25,000 to 35,000 miles. Despite our explanation of various conditions that could accelerate brake wear [redacted] refused to accept the fact that the brakes were worn out due to normal wear. Upon further investigation we found our previous brake work was done on August 8, 2014 at 135,199 miles (invoice [redacted] enclosed). His current invoice dated November 17, 2015 indicated a mileage of 176,840 miles (invoice [redacted] enclosed). That indicated that the actual mileage from the original brake Work was 41,641 miles not the 30,000 [redacted] made it his complaint statement. At 41,840 miles we can defiantly attribute this to normal Wear and consider this matter closed. As an extra courtesy we offer our service customers complimentary manicures on Tuesday mornings, Our records indicate our manicurist was present on November 17, 2015. I can't explain way [redacted] could not find her. [redacted] stated that this complimentary service was an incentive for him bringing his vehicle that day. In fairness to him We will gladly reimburse him for up to $20.00 for his wife to have a manicure done elsewhere. All he has to do is forward us a paid receipt.
Should you have any questions please don't hesitate to call
Sincerely,Pete D[redacted] Service DirectorSHEEHY VOLKSWAGEN QF SPRINGFIELD ###-###-#### [redacted] Springfield, VA[redacted] www.sheehy.com

Review: on January 26, 2013 I purchased a used 2004 Honda Accord from Sheehy Volkswagon of Springfield. At the time I traded in a 2002 BMW 530. The salesperson ([redacted]) delivered the vehicle to my home. Upon my test driving the vehicle I noticed that the radio and navigation were not operating. The salesperson assurred me that the disk to program the navigation and radio would be delivered in a few days and would be installed. My sales person sent me a text message informing me that if I drove to the dealership that they would fix the navigation and radio. After I drove all the way to springfield, upon my arrival they continued to give me the runaround. They had me drive from one dealership to another to hunt for a disk that was not available. One month later, after making many calls, sending numerous text message, and emails the issue is still not resolved. I spoke with two managers ([redacted] on 2/15/13 and [redacted] on 2/20/13). Both assurred me that they would take care of the issue. Now it is to the point where no one will respond to me. Everyone was VERY responsive prior to the sale. Now that the sale has transpired the dealership is not keeping up their end of the bargain. I am very disatified with the customer service they have provided. At this point all I want is to receive the disk and have them install it like they said they would. I am available to provide phone records, copies of text messages, and emails between me and several Sheehy of Volkswagon staff informing me that they will take care of the problem.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the disk that the dealership promised they would install in my vehicle so I can listen to the radio and operate the navigation system.

Review: I am writing in hopes of resolving the following matter:On Wed, April 10th, I scheduled an appt with Sheehy between 6pm and 7pm to test drive (and purchase) a vehicle I found online. When I arrived on Wed., I was told that the car was not ready (that the paint wasn't dry) and that I could not take it, but that we would be allowed to test drive it. We did test drive it, and the car drove and appeared to be in great condition with no visible flaws. Originally they wanted my husband and I to come back another day to actually purchase it and take it home, but they finally agreed to have it delivered to us the following day at our home. We filled out all paperwork, but held onto our check (we had personal financing from [redacted]), with the intention of handing over the check for the car upon delivery the following business day. They finally delivered the car around 6:30 pm on Thur (after having told us throughout the day they they were "on their way"). We handed over the check, and got the keys. Immediately after they left, I noticed a chip/crack in the windshield that was not there the day before when we test drove it. I called the dealership right away and spoke to the sales manager (named [redacted]) to explain this to him. His response was that he would "find out from them what happened and get back to me". I have not heard back since. They will not return my phone calls or emails and there is still a crack in my windshield that they (I am guessing) incurred on the drive down, but I am not sure exactly what happened because they have ceased all communication. now I have a car that I paid for with a cracked windshield.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to replace the windshield that they cracked, please. I have a photograph of the car before it was delivered to me and phone records as evidence. Thank you!I have attached a photo of the car before it was delivered, one of the windshield crack, and two screenshots of my phone records as evidence of the time of delivery and time that I spoke with [redacted] the sales manager about the issue.

Review: I bought a used car the dealership advertises to start you off right with 2 keys. At the time of purchase I was only given one key---when I asked for the additional key I was told they would find it and give to me in a few days. Approx. 2 months later I have not gotten the 2nd key or spoken to anyone about making acceptable arrangements with me even after calling at least 5 different people within the dealership. I was last told that the key was ordered on 10/11 and then they will need to take my car to the Chevrolet dealer to get a key made whenever the blank key comes in.Desired Settlement: I would like the key to be overnighted or couriered to my home address when it comes in and to be given a point of contact of whom I should see at the Chevrolet dealer to get the 2nd key cut at Sheehy's expense.
