I am rejecting this response because: First of all, I have not been communicated with in any way.  Please do not lie and say you wrote me.  If you did, I would have been less inclined to take action, and would have communicated directly with you, instead of seeking support from the Revdex.com.  Also, little do any of you know I live in one of these apartments, so don't pretend like you sent a letter to the wrong address. Lies get you nowhere, and prove that all you care about is trying to discredit me so you can try and appear as if you're a legit business. Yes, I said legit business, partly because you don't even have an office. Your business' physical address is a home, and you receive your mail through a PO Box. Secondly, I did not tell the plumbers to call me when they had a quote for the cost of a new motor.  As they were leaving my apartments, after not recognizing one of the motors I had in hand made a perfect fit (not just physically), they said they would pick one up and bring it back in the morning with them.  The next morning one of them called telling me you all would have to order a new motor, it would cost more than $300, and it would take about a week to arrive.  You should take the time to read my original comments before you make up a response. I'm glad the Revdex.com posts complaints and responses online.  Anyone who reads this conversation can see through your **.  And in the end, how do you try to remedy the situation?  Tell me you didn't charge me "hours" for the one minute it takes to look up the motor (as you said, with the serial number and all), and the one minute to call me to share the news.  On top of that, offer me a 10% discount on a future service. Are you serious?

FOUR STAR APOLOGIZES TO THE CUSTOMER FOR THE FRUSTRATION AND MISTRUST THAT HE HAS WITH OUR COMPANY. YES WE DID DO A DIAGNOSTIC ON HIS UNIT WHICH IS PROPER PROTOCOL TO SEE WHAT THE ACTUAL PROBLEM IS.  YES THE CUSTOMER DID PRESENT THE TECH WITH (2 MOTORS) THAT WERE NOT OF PROPER SIZE.  THE...

CUSTOMER WAS AWARE THAT THE TECH WAS GOING TO SEE ABOUT GETTING THE CORRECT PART FOR HIS UNIT.   THE TECH TOOK THE MODEL AND SERIAL NUMBER AND PROVIDED THIS INFORMATION TO THE HEATING/COOLING CONTRACTOR WAREHOUSES SO THEY CAN MATCH UP AND ALSO LOCATE FOR PURCHASE.  CUSTOMER DID REQUEST THAT ONCE WE FOUND THE PART TO CALL HIM WITH THE PRICE.  ONCE WE LOCATED A PART THAT WENT WITH THAT PARTICULAR UNIT, WE CALLED HIM AND MENTIONED THE PRICE WHICH THEN CUSTOMER DECLINED THE PURCHASE. IF WE WOULD HAVE DONE SOME MODIFICATIONS IN ORDER TO GET THE WRONG PART INSTALLED  WE WOULD HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR TROUBLE.  ONCE WE DID THE MODIFICATION AND IT STILL DID NOT WORK BUT NOW YOU CAN'T PUT IT BACK TO ORIGINAL STATE OR IF WE CAUSED THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TO FAIL DUE TO IMPROPER INSTALL  CUSTOMER FOR SURE HAD EVERY REASON THEN TO BE UPSET WITH FOUR STAR  SHOWING LACK OF EXPERIENCE AND NOT BEING PROFESSIONAL KNOWING WE WERE NOT REPAIRING PROPERLY.THE TECHS WORK ON ALL TYPES OF UNITS DAY TO DAY WHETHER IS IS REPAIRS OR INSTALLS.  THE REASON FOR THE MODEL AND SERIAL NUMBERS ON MECHANICAL PARTS IS FOR PARTS TO PROPERLY MATCH UP AND WORK THE WAY THEY WERE DESIGNED TO WORK. FOUR STAR ALSO REPLIED TO THE CUSTOMER VIA LETTER TO THE ADDRESS WE DID THE WORK.  FOUR STAR DID SEND IT'S APOLOGIES ALONG WITH A 10% DISCOUNT ON LABOR ONLY FOR ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW THE CUSTOMER OUR SERVICES  HAVE ALL BEEN BASED ON CUSTOMER REFERRALS.FOUR STARS MOTTO IS    DO NOT FIX WHAT IS NOT BROKEN AND    DO NOT REPLACE WHAT CAN BE FIXED.WE ARE NOT OUT TO RIP OFF ANY CUSTOMER.  FOUR STAR WANTS ALL OUR CUSTOMERS TO BE SATISFIED WITH THE EXPERIENCE AND PROFESSIONALISM WE HAVE TO OFFER. AS FOR THE REFUND IT IS FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC AND FOUR STAR DID NOT CHARGE THE MAN HOURS TO LOCATE TO PROPER PART AND THEN CALL HIM WITH PRICE THAT WAS DECLINED ON CUSTOMERS PART.SINCERELYEVELYN A[redacted] FORFOUR STAR MECHANICAL SERVICES INC.
