Review: I went by [redacted] on the morning of August 12, 2016. I noticed the diesel fuel sign showed 2.059, I went into the station and pulled up and found the pumps actually showed 2.099. I contacted Sheetz via email and they are supposed to be getting with the District Manager and let them know. I provided pictures from the store that morning and did not have time to go inside the store and alert them of the false advertising at the time.Desired Settlement: Refund the difference of the fuel and make sure the sign matches the pumps and stop the false advertising.

Review: terrible customer service within this store can't answer simple questions- got people with attitudes period.Desired Settlement: better customer service and knowledge on register questions instead of excuses or blame customer.

Review: Went to Sheetz ordered a salad from their new menu which has the option to pick a salad and not have to bother with adding toppings. Purchased the Italian salad, which was not prepared as advertised. Attempted to contact sheetz to resolve the matter to have my purchased refunded, and basically in the email, sheetz did not address my concern. They actually spoke around my concern, and put the blame on me.Desired Settlement: Would simply like for Sheetz to take hold of their mistake and refund my money instead of placing blame on the customer as they did in their email.

Review: My complaint to Sheetz is that I have got bad gas from a specific location in [redacted] 3 times now. I contacted corporate office to get this issue resolved and it seemed like they really did not care about what had just happened. The location in the Sheetz gas station on [redacted]. The gas that I always get is the premium 93. The last 3 times I got gas from this station that was 93, it has been bad, so bad to the point it would cause my car to stall out. This is the only place this has happened to me. Ever since that I know longer get gas from sheetz or rarely ever even shop there anymore. The first time this happened was about 2 weeks or so prior 09/13/13. I ended up getting a half a tank of gas which is around $25 and as soon as that happened I started my car and it took about 5 minutes until it started to run really rough and stall out to the point I could not leave the sheetz parking lot for about half an hour or so. I had to purchase gas treatment inside and then put 87 in my tank to get my car to start running correctly. Now the second time this happened was on 09/13/13 at around 5:20 p.m.I filled up with 93 again assuming the problem would have been dealt with. I was wronged I filled up and drove to [redacted] down the road and once again the same problem. I filled up with about $35 worth of gas this time. I had to repeat the process of gas treatment to get my car running correctly again. Ever since that last one I avoided this store [redacted] and sheetz all together for a little while. Now about a month and a half ago from 03/04/14 I stopped in assuming once again the problem would have been dealt with seeing that I contacted corporate the same day the second time this happened to me on 09/13/13. Well after putting in about $10 of 93 gas in my car, I got home and parked the car for the night. The very next day on my way to work I started having bad gas symptoms all over again. This has been a hassle and has costed me money. Complaint number [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for the bad gas I have purchased at Sheetz and also for the extra gas and gas treatment I had to buy in order to keep my car in good running order. Also not to mention I have no clue if any damage was done to my engine as a result of the bad gas.

We received a call Mr. Mr. [redacted] in September of 2013. After expressing his concerns with the gas he purchased, we explained that he would have to take his vehicle to a ASE Certified mechanic, who would have to verify that the issues he was having with this vehicle were a direct result of “ bad” gas. Mr. [redacted] told us that he would do so. During this conversation, we offered Mr. [redacted] Sheetz gift cards to cover the cost of the gas he purchased and he declined stating that he would never buy gas from Sheetz again. We have not heard from Mr. [redacted] (or a mechanic on his behalf) since this conversation.

Review: On 8/29/2014 I stopped at Sheetz in Mercer Pa. and bought $125 worth of K-1 Kerosene for my indoor Kerosene heaters.I had just put new wicks in all 3 of my Kerosene heaters and was useing Sheetz K-1 Kerosene to Burn in the new wicks.The kerosene caused the wicks to melt to the draft tubes.I then poured the Kerosene I had just bought at Sheetz into my holding tank and noticed that the Kerosene was Yellow in color instead of being clear like K-1 kerosene should be. I called Sheetz and talked to someone who said they were from Sheetz legal dept.I explained my problem and was given a run around about their K-1 kerosene.I told the Sheetz employee I had spent $125 for Kerosene that I could not use in my heaters and all the kerosene was good for was Maybe work in my oil furnace.The Sheetz(legal) employee told me to use the kerosene in my oil furnace and offered me a $15 gift card.I told the person that I lived on a fixed income and was disabled and I needed good Kerosene for my indoor heaters not for my oil furnace because Liheap filled my oil furnace tank.I was then told they would send insurance forms for me to fill out so I could get my $125 back.Sheetz never sent me any forms to fill out and did not answer any of my emails or phone calls.Here it is almost a month later and Sheetz has done nothing to help.Desired Settlement: I want to return the Kerosene to Sheetz and give my $125 back and pay for the ruined wicks.

Review: Sheetz, Inc. Business Fleet Services Failure to Follow, Notify, or Provide Customer Service in any Fashion, Let Alone Timely, Is Non-Existent. This report is to voice a complaint against the business practices of Sheetz, Inc. and their commercial fleet business services. As a matter of decorum, I have left out the names of the persons involved on the Sheetz end. But those names are readily available if the company wishes to correct a wrongdoing of horrendous business practices. At the end of July of this year, our company had applied and had been granted a credit line with Sheetz Fleet services. Our account representative was certainly on the mark at this moment in the process. He had stated that the cards were cut and on the way to our address in the mail. Three weeks past, and I contacted him again. He states that the system shows the credit cards were sent out on the 3rd of August. He states that they he will overnight new cards immediately, the same day. And he apologizes for the issue. Fine, those things do happen. What should NOT happen is that nine days go by, I which I had placed three phone calls to the representative's voice mail with no response. I had also placed three calls with his management team. No response. It is on a Friday, ten days after he stated that the cards were to be overnight-ed, and still had not shown, that I called the department directly. I was told that no one else could do anything. That I just have to wait. I received a call about an hour later, from another representative, to inform us that our account was reconsidered and closed. I was informed that this happens all the time, as company procedure based on account performance. The only problem is that we never had the account cards to have any performance rated upon. The core issues here: 1) Horrible customer service, with no existent correspondence. 2) Completely arbitrary account & business practices. 3) Failure to follow the agreed contract. We had been approved, our information per each card taken down, and informed of all our requirements. Sheetz, Inc. failed to follow any of their own agreement outlines. Being the head of operations at my company, I am well aware of constant changing financial decisions. However, when a contract is violated, and customer service disappears: this is BAD BUSINESS. In my line of work, bad business gets you fired and hurts the company. Apparently, Sheetz, Inc., doesn't need customers or reputation. That's the message that this transaction has sent.Desired Settlement: Full account reinstatement to the original agreed terms and a signed letter of apology.

I am writing in response to the complaint we received on September 3, 2013.

Review: On 12/25/2013 I went inside Sheetz on [redacted] and spent 12.15 on a prepaid [redacted] card. The next day 12/26/2013 the charge came off my card. On 12/27/2013 sheetz took the remaining balance of my card 37.85. When I called customer service (###-###-####) I was informed they only do that when purchasing fuel they will put a balance on hold till the charge goes through. I explained to her that I went into the store and purchased cigarettes not fuel. Then on top of that the money was taken off my card the day after the charge cleared. She then informed me I need to speak to [redacted] in accounting and gave me a case number ([redacted]) and transferred my call. I left [redacted] a voice mail with name, contact info and case number. She never returned my call. So I call back today (almost a mirror of previous call). [redacted] has not called back and Sheetz has not put the money back on my cardDesired Settlement: I want the money back on my card that Sheetz Fraudulently took.

This is in response to a complaint that we received from your office.

On 12/30/13 we received a call from our mutual customer. Customer stated that he had a charge on his card that he did not make, I have attached a copy of this call (call number [redacted]).

In researching we found that the customer was at our Sheets Store [redacted] on 12/25/13 at 12:35 pm and made a purchase for $12.15. Than on 12/26/13 the customer was back at this same store at 8:32 am and swiped his credit card at gas pump number 7, We than contacted the customer and obtained his email address and emailed him a copy of these items. I have attached a copy of this email.

When a customer swipes their credit card at a gas pump, a temporary hold is placed on the card. This is the case with this customer, A hold of $37.85 was placed on his card. For some reason unknown to us the customer didn’t pump any gas., therefore a zero completion was done, but because of the initial swipe the hold was still on the card.

According to [redacted] the temporary holds can be on the cards for 2 - 8 business days. Since the customer swiped the card on 12/26/13, it is possible that the hold was on the card until 1/8/14. The money should be back on the customer's card. Customer can contact [redacted] at ###-###-#### for more information on the hold process.

Sbeetz is not responsible for the holds as these are placed by the issuing bank. The holds are also removed by the issuing banks. Sheetz was/is not holding the customer's money nor was Sheetz paid for this transaction,

I have also attached copies of the transactions from our system, including the pre-authorization swipe and the zero completion.
