It is more difficult to make a payment than it was to buy the 4-wheeler. The online portal never lets me login and always has an error. I wanted to set up auto-draft and I never could get to a customer service agent. Do I really have to call in every single time I have to make a payment and listen to the ridiculously long automated messages? Please, just let me pay for my ATV!!!!

DO NOT USE. Horrible customer service. I was promised multiple times over the years, that a “60 day late” that was posted to my credit report would be removed- as it was a mailing error on Sheffields part. I paid off my lian early to get away from them. They still Have not corrected it. Disappointing- just not customer oriented.

Miss 1 payment got my trailer repo and ruin my credit. Harassing phone called. Not recommended to finance with this company. Wait for the call on hold for hour. Late 1 payment you will get repo from this financial company. Stay away.

The do not Honor the military for SCRA benefits and pretty much told me that my enlistment is not consider "Active duty" there email response below.
Louisiana state law 29:311 This is the law that are referring to say that I am not "Active duty".
Pretty sure all branches of the military where acts of congress.
We understand your question and did thoroughly review your reference to the Louisiana Law 29.311. The law you referenced provides for active duty service. For purposes of determining application of the statute “active duty” is defined as: “(1) “Active duty” means active duty pursuant to an executive order of the president of the United States, an act of the Congress of the United States, or the provisions of R.S. 29:7.” LR. §29:311. Your enlistment does not qualify as active duty under this statute. We also reviewed the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. Based on the information you provided, you were active duty at the time the loan was originated, therefore you do not qualify for the interest rate reduction.

Sheffield financial is a disgrace. I recently paid off my trailer on August 26th and I showed them proof that I did so on 9/5. Well here we are over a month later on 10/7 with no title received. I called them I showed them proof I paid it and they told me it was released on 9/5 via standard mail. Why would we be sending a such an important title document standard mail with no tracking number no signature required or nothing? Nothing to even track where this very important document is. I paid my account on time every single month and never missed a single payment. The only thing Sheffield said they could do is send lien release forms where I have to now go to the motor vehicle department and do their job to get a new title created because they have
Failed to properly execute there’s. It is a disgrace that I need to now go and get a new title made and a huge inconvenience to me. I was a loyal Sheffield customer with multiple accounts but I can tell you I will never be using them again and they have lost me as a customer. I will also tell everyone I know of my experiences so they also choose not to use them for any of their financing needs. Horrible!!

Paid off loan in full for a utility vehicle on 8/4/19.... still no title as of 8/26. I proved payment cleared bank, never missed one payment and was told it would take 30 days for title release. Then I was told as I proved payment cleared my title would be released....it wasn’t.Telephone agents are not truthful regarding information you request. Am very dissatisfied with them. Highly recommend finding a different source of financial institution for any loans.

I bought my ATV new and had it financed through Sheffield. I paid my account on time every month with absolutely no issue. On the very last payment to close my account, I reached out to Sheffield Financial to get a payoff amount and manually send in a check. I worked with someone at Sheffield who finally got me the amount and I told her the check was coming in to pay off the loan. Keep in mind I have paid on time EVERY SINGLE MONTH FOR YEARS. The manual check got there 1 day after the grace period and I now have my first "30 day late" report on my credit for the last 7 years. MY credit score dropped nearly 50 points. Called and emailed with Sheffield and they couldn't give a darn regardless of my communication to coordinate a final payment. This is why people absolutely hate banks that are in the business of hurting good people. I will use every social media and other means to have *** and other STOP using them for financing.

Want to confirm that Sheffield has responded to me and has agreed to correct the issue. The customer support agent was very pleasant and professional (as I experienced in the years I had my loan). I will update my review again once the issue is fully resolved with the credit bureaus.

I'm so glad that I was able to read peoples experience with this finance option. I have not done any business with them, and was only probing for info. They truly sound like nothing I would ever involve my financial dealings with. I will take peoples honest experience with these clowns, and move on to my credit union and protect myself from their bad business ethics!!

Zero stars should be an option! Please STAY AWAY from this company! I missed a payment when my mom was dying in hospice care!! Somehow my bank auto pay quit paying!!! They automatically report it on your credit report immediately and will not help you in any way!! When you call to explain....they could care less! I’ve been paying them perfectly for years!!! Most folks at least say....sorry about your mother!! Not these people! Never again!!

Horrible my mother in law has an 815 credit score and made 250k last year and co-signed for my wife and they want 10% down! Horrible place we aren’t the only complaint google them they should be shut down

We had a horrible customer service experience with them and would suggest looking elsewhere for loans if you can. They do not offer any customer forgiveness if you do anything wrong including something as small as short-paying an invoice by $8.08 by accident they will hit your credit for that and not take into consideration your history with them at all.

Have tried financing with these folks for years & even with good credit (760+) they always deny our company, stay away from these people no matter what! You are better off borrowing from a street corner loan shark!

This company refuses to correct there error on my credit report. Complaint is innacurate reporting that I have disputed.
