This is the response to complaint ID ***, customer name *** ***Earlier today I spoke with Miss *** and discussed the complaint and the work being done on her car, I promised to call her back tomorrow with an update on the new engine, She told me the reason she filed the complaint
with the Revdex.com is because she couldn't get a loaner car to have transportation to workOur policy is that due to insurance policies we cannot loan out carsI did however call the insurance company and she only has liability so our insurance company said that we could not loan a car to her, if any of our customers have a wreck in a loaner car this creates a major lawsuit for usPlus Transportation Cabinet says we are not allowed to loan cars without a permitWe have signs posted in each office stating Due to Insurance Regulations we do not loan vehicles.I have read the complaint she filed and attached you will find invoices on items purchased for her Buick LeSabreOur service department installed the outer tie rod ends at a cost of $and she had no money to pay when she picked up the carHowever, we did issue a $credit for her having work done at another locationI am also attaching her Customer Research Form to show her payments and her past due amountPlease note that the remaining balance on the car is $1,Ms***'s payment is due on the 5" of the month and is $a month and we have never received a full monthly payment from herWe do not have the equipment/technology to shut off cars.The invoice for the engine is attachedThe average engine costs $1,and we are charging $750,plus laborOur mechanic currently has the engine in our shop and is going to start work on this automobile and will startWe did have a delay due to waiting on the engine to be delivered from a parts store in Louisville.I honestly feel that we have given the customer excellent serviceWe have paid out money on several parts and put in labor hours with no payments and even issued a creditAlso, when the car broke down on 7/14/Ms*** called us to pick it up at Speedway on the corner ofIndian Trail and Preston Highway in LouisvilleI dispatched a worker who went and towed the car back to our lotAgain, another cost to us.Ms*** also filed a claim against us on 6/1/with the Commonwealth of Kentucky Attorney General's Office and we answered this complaintMs*** actually apologized and called the Attorney General's Office to let them know it was a misunderstanding and everything had been taken care of.Our philosophy is we treat our customers the way we want to be treated!
