Shelby Music Center

In 2015, I took my *** clarinet that I played for six years in middle and high school band to Shelby Music Center to see if they would buy it or sell it on consignment. I received a receipt, which I still have, for 80 percent consignment. I was told that I would receive 80 percent of the $350 price for the clarinet when it sold to a customer of the music store. I left the store with my receipt. I never heard back. I called later in the fall of 2015. They said it was still there. I called in 2016. They said it was still there. I called several times in 2017, and I was told that sometimes an instrument like a clarinet is in such large supply that it doesn't sell very quickly when someone brings one in. In 2018, I stopped by the store, and the guy on duty seemed so confused with what I showed him but he identified the man who signed the receipt I have with his initials TC as someone he knows, is no longer employed by the music shop and is now at the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office. He said he would try to find records or talk to TC and resolve my questions. He took down my number and said he'd call me. No call. I went back in the middle of 2019 and had the same conversation with the same man, who identified himself as Mike and introduced himself like we'd never met though we have. He again took my cell number, wrote it down on a paper amid a huge stack of messy papers and said he'd call me. No call. While I was in the store that last time, I looked at the clarinets they had. I found my clarinet on the shelf, mouthpiece missing, other parts in disarray. I had a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that I had made a mistake. Shelby Music Center has made off with my clarinet, and I got nothing for it. I wish I had the instrument back or the money, but it seems the instrument is gone and the money may be too if Revdex.com can't help me. Can you help me resolve this and get me the money since the instrument is gone?
