Hello, I won't be able to provide my original contact request because my call was made by a cell phone (not email or text) and my provider does not send me a *** with individual numbers I called on it I have attached the *** of Sale, a copy of the compression test showing the engine needs to be replaced as well as one of the spark plug that caused my engine failure I brought this spark plug into a *** Dealership near my home and they told me that the end of the inferior spark plug could have caused a valve to burn out I also found several more *** spark plugs in different cylinders in my engine Windsor Ford told me they replaced all spark plugs with an *** *** and that is clearly not what was in my vehicle

I am rejecting this response because:There are several incorrect items in Windsor Fords statement: 1) I did attempt to contact Windsor Ford right away, however I never received a call back.  2)The 10 spark plugs were either never replaced, partially replaced or were replaced by inferior spark plugs (perhaps not knowingly) as I pulled 3 inferior [redacted] spark plugs out of 3 different cylinders when Windsor Ford told me they used all genuine [redacted] spark plugs.  They were the last ones to work on my vehicle.Consequently one of the [redacted] spark plugs has caused engine failure.3) I did bring the [redacted] spark plug into [redacted] (another [redacted] dealership) and showed Nick, the service manager who did a compression test (on my own dollars) indicating such.

Oct 25th 2016On June 18, 2016 our customer brought in his 1998 motorhome with 64431 miles into our facility as it had a bad misfire due to a spark plug coming loose from the cylinder head causing the threads to strip out. Upon evaluation of the concern and approval from the customer we repaired the...

cylinder head threads, as well we replaced all 10 spark plugs and 1 coil which was damaged when the spark plug blew out of the cylinder head. All of the spark plugs were replaced as per our records. The customer contacted us approximately 4 months and 10000 miles after our repairs to inform us that his engine was damaged due to his spark plugs not being replaced. (Incorrect spark plugs were not verified by his local dealer). The customer had stated that his Check Engine Light did not come on, if a spark plug was misfiring more than 100 times per key cycle the Check Engine Light would have come on. Had the customer had the running rough concern addressed immediately rather than driving 10000 miles further base engine concerns may have been avoided.Windsor Ford sympathizes with our customer but we believe we have no responsibility in the concern.
