I have been insure with this company for over years with home, auto, and business [redacted] had been my agent for yearsEverything had been fine up until about two years agoI notice a change in my rates and place a call to [redacted] and asked her why my rate had changedshe informed me this was and we needed to shop ratesFirst flag was I'm paying you to be my agent it's your job to keep me with the best rate and coveragewhy am I having to call younot to mention it took days to hear back from her after my initial phone callThen recently I had another son turning so I needed to add him to our policyI decided to do some of my own shopping for rates just for himReceived a quote from another insurance companyI then called my insurance and asked for a quote [redacted] emailed back and replied oh your on our list for requote give me a couple of daysSeveral days went by and it was much higher than what the other companies where quotingShe replied well he needs to be insuredShe wanted to compare the coverage from the other insurance companiesWe then emailed her the quotes and adjusted the rate through a [redacted] policyWe replied to her email that sounds great and decided to go with that policy and asked her to send us what we needed to signIt came via email within days of receiving the documents we signed and emailed them back.We assumed all was done and mission completeWe by the way are set up on auto draft for payment so we never see the billWe sat down to review our finances before taxes and noticed we were billed around dollars insurance coverage from nov- febThis is approximately dollars more than we where expectingWe immediately picked up the phone and called our agents, surprise she not available,so we emailed herdays went by no responseWednesday she called my cellphone and left a message for my wife, even though she was called and, left a message to call my wifeHer number was left on the message not mineFinally Thursday she actually talks to my wifeShe never swapped us over to [redacted] She left us insured with the old companyTo sum it up she absolutely failed to do what we pay this company to doHer last reply to me was I have already talked to the shellnuts and they are not willing to do anythingSo to sum this up in a whole, what I gather is they have outgrown their ability to service there customers appropriatelyAnd for clarifications we have had claims in plus years one was the big hail storm we hadour payments are on time, again they are auto draftedWhen you pay for a middle man service you expect it to work and as of the last few years it has been very poor

I notice a change in my rates and place a call to [redacted] and asked her why my rate had changed. she informed me this was normal and we needed to shop rates. First flag was I'm paying you to be my agent it's your job to keep me with the best rate and coverage.. why am I having to call you. not to mention it took 2 days to hear back from her after my initial phone call. Then recently I had another son turning 16 so I needed to add him to our policy. I decided to do some of my own shopping for rates just for him. Received a quote from another insurance company. I then called my insurance and asked for a quote. [redacted] emailed back and replied .. oh your on our list for requote give me a couple of days. Several days went by and it was much higher than what the other companies where quoting. She replied well he needs to be insured. She wanted to compare the coverage from the other insurance companies. We then emailed her the quotes and adjusted the rate through a [redacted] policy. We replied to her email that sounds great and decided to go with that policy and asked her to send us what we needed to sign. It came via email within 2 days of receiving the documents we signed and emailed them back.We assumed all was done and mission complete. We sat down to review our finances before taxes and noticed we were billed around 1900 dollars insurance coverage from nov- feb. This is approximately 1000 dollars more than we where expecting. We immediately picked up the phone and called our agents, surprise she not available,so we emailed her. 2 days went by no response. Wednesday she called my cellphone and left a message for my wife, even though she was called and, left a message to call my wife... Her number was left on the message not mine. Finally Thursday she actually talks to my wife.... She never swapped us over to [redacted]... She left us insured with the old company. To sum it up she absolutely failed to do what we pay this company to do. Her last reply to me was I have already talked to the shellnuts and they are not willing to do anything. So to sum this up in a whole, what I gather is they have outgrown their ability to service there customers appropriately. And for clarifications we have had 2 claims in 10 plus years one was the big hail storm we had. our payments are on time, again they are auto drafted. When you pay for a middle man service you expect it to work and as of the last few years it has been very poor.
