My son brought his car in for oil change ended up with blown engine result of oil plug that fell out had to replace engine and even though they admitted to him it happened before refuse to compensate him for cost of repairsHe has proof from his mechanic and he even spoke directly to themWould never recommend this place of business to anyone

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Hello I'm rejecting this response because nothing stated is correct, my car did not drive funny and I never stated it bad a preconditionthe oil change was never performed and my tire broke as a result from employees not supporting my tire properly before lifting it and then their four employees kicking it Yes drop kicking numerous times, I have photos to prove thisI paid to have my car fixed so No money was not the issue as you claimI did not become disrespectful as you told me the only way you would fix my car is by taking you to courtI asked several times to meet with me and he wouldnt, also have this convo recordedI feel if my car drove on to their shop it should have drove out and it didn't making them responsible Sincerely, [redacted]

The customer did indeed tell me over the phone that she had a precondition on her car and told the same to my service writerI am not going to argue any longerYou do not support the tires when lifting a car for an oil change, you lift it from the frameYou can can bend a strut or make a ball joint bad from trying to straighten a wheelThese items can not be done when lifting a car for an oil change.

Review: I drove my 2004 [redacted] vue to this shop for an oil change, while waiting I noticed about 4 employees surround my car and forcefully kick my tire multiple times.. long story short they broke my car and could not move it off their lift. If the employee drove it in the shop he should have drove it out but as a result of them kicking my tire the snapped the axel.Desired Settlement: The front desk guy was rude and told me they weren't paying for nothing and if I wanted money I would swe them in court, I asked to contact owner who eventually was called about an hour later, the owner would not meet with me and stated he will not fix my car for free... I told him drive my car out your shop the same way your mechanic drove it in and that would be sufficient enough . Unfortunately my car could not move making them liable ... I have numerous photos of the employee kicking my car tire that all of a sudden became broke.

Response:

Thank you for the opportunity to respond. The customer came in for an oil change. When the technician drove the car around the building, he immediately could feel that there was something wrong by the way the car steered and the noise it made. When the tech raised the car he could see that the left front strut and ball joint was bad. The tech brought this issue to the service writer who In turn brought the issue to the customer who stated "yes I know there is something wrong, it was making a noise while backing up and a another garage said I had a bad ball joint." After the oil change was completed, the tech lowered the car and the ball joint and strut were so bad that the tire was crooked. When the service writer showed the customer she said "put it back the way it was I can not fix it now." So then the tech with the help of other technicians tried to straighten her tire out but to no avail. We did not charge her for any additional time spent in trying to help her. The customer (after spending a lot of time trying to explain the seriousness of the condition and trying to explain how that doing an oil change CAN NOT cause this,) she then got very disrespectful and would not even try to understand that it is impossible to bend a strut and cause a ball joint to fail while doing an oil change. She stated she had a precondition and now she wants us to fix it for free. I told the customer on the phone. (I was away on vacation and could not "meet" with her) that she should feel very blessed that it completely failed while the car was stopped. If it happened while driving on the highway, it could of possibly hurt or killed her or someone else because she would of lost her steering and would of went out of control.
