Shelton Excavating, Inc. Reviews (1)

After reviewing this concern with the septic designer and st louis county property line records, we do not feel we were on the neighbors property. I have attached an image of what we were supplied before excavation. The property line looks to have a jog in it closer to the existing garage that is...

owned by the neighbor. Matter of fact, it looks as if there garage may be partially on the [redacted] property. We have hired a surveyor to come out and verify these lines and are waiting for that to be completed. If we happened to go on there property, I truly apologize as we were instructed from the beginning that this was all owned by [redacted] We always go back and place screened topsoil, seed and hay on excavated areas, and this was completed about 6 weeks ago. However, in our line of work it is very normal for an area to continue to settle and we go back and place more topsoil, seed and hay. We have no problem doing that as I said it is very common. The current homeowner has volunteered to submit a letter to Revdex.com if you desire stating there thoughts. Once the survey is completed we will be more than happy to address any issues there may or may not be. Like I said earlier, the homeowner that hired us is fine with things at this point to my knowledge. In addition the neighbor claimed we damaged there driveway. There is a circle driveway portion that connects these two properties and that would be the only portion our vehicles may have driven on as its the only way to navigate through the tight quarters. I am not sure how ownership is on this portion, like I said its connected to both driveways. I have personally inspected this portion and do not see any signs of destruction. Thank you for bringing this concern to my attention and as soon as the survey has been completed I will identify exactly if we were on there property. If so, again I apologize as we were instructed it was not and I will do my best to make sure it is restored as we found it. Like I said we have already restored this portion anyway but maybe it has settled and needs a little more topsoil. I will get out and take pictures and forward them to you. [redacted] Shelton
