It was a busy weekend & unfortunately we ran out of Absolut Citron and were unable to make the specialty drink the guest requestedThe bartender did his best to try to re create the drink using regular Absolut vodka but it wasn't the same, the drink was returned and taken off of the guest
bill. I wrote the guest the following email:I
wanted thank you for taking your time to write to us about your experience at
our hotelI take guests surveys seriously and strive to make matters right I sincerely apologize for the inconveniences that you describedI
completely understand and I would be just as frustrated with not receiving what I orderedI did some research to immediately address the issues you had and I am working on improving our operation This kind of interaction with the server and manager is unacceptable and I personally
addressed on that issue as wellI will not be able to have the manager or the server write an apology to you as they are no longer with our companyI am working very hard to ensure that our staff is fully trained and situations like this won't happen in the future
I
am very disappointed that you had that experience with our hotel and next time your in town please look me up as I would like to take care of your next round of drinks along with some food
Once again I would like to
apologize on behalf of the hotel staff for your challenging experiences and
hope you will consider giving us another chance
