I made a reservation on the Marriott website for a room at this hotel. There was nothing on the room description to indicate that this room had stairs. I do not need an ADA accessible room but I do have trouble climbing stairs. When I arrived, I learned that the bedroom was upstairs. The hotel said they were not able to change rooms. I was left sleeping on a couch when there was an unused bed upstairs. I was separated from my family and ultimately even got sick.
The room description should clearly indicate if there are any stairs. I have been in touch with both Marriott and the particular hotel with unsatisfactory results. The inaccurate room description is still on the website.
I understand the pandemic has interfered with much of daily business. However this issue should be addressed at some point.
