Sherjam Inc. dba Car World II Reviews (8)

The customer brought her vehicle in for maintenance but instead of having my mechanic diagnosis the problem she said she knew what was wrong with the vehicle and had all her
own parts to fix the vehicle. We put in the parts she provided to fix the problem she diagnosed it to have which is...

why the vehicle is still not running correctly. We are a business and we canonly do what the customer asks us to do nothing more.
If the customer wishes to pick up her vehicle and pay for the labor we performed on the vehicle that is the only solution I can offer at this time.
When a vehicle owner gives us the diagnosis we can not guarantee it will fix the problem because we has a professional shop have not determined the problem with he vehicle.

The customer [redacted] put a 500.00 dollar deposit down on a vehicle which is non-refundable once approved for financing. The customer also asked us to do extra prep work to the vehicle prior to taking delivery after we got him approved and did all the extra prep work on the vehicle....

Mr. [redacted] said he did not want the vehicle. The paperwork that Mr. [redacted] signed states no refund of deposit. We will not give Mr. [redacted] his deposit back.

Mr. [redacted] did come in on Feb. 28th looking to purchase a vehicle. He looked at a 2003 [redacted] we were able to get him approved for financing with a payment that he agreeded would work for him. This was sat. Mr. [redacted] said he needed the vehicle by tuesday the following week, we...

recieved an email from Mr. [redacted] tuesday night with his proof of insurance and other documents that were required by the finance company. We talked to Mr. [redacted] the next day to schedule the delivery time for the following day thursday after he got out of work. Mr. [redacted] then called in friday during the day stating he could not afford the insurance and payments on the vehicle. [redacted] spoke to him and said he could try and get him a more resonable insurance quote somewhere under 200 a month but Mr. [redacted] said no that wont help I just want my deposit back. Mr. [redacted] did sign a retail purchase order which clearly states no refund of deposit. Car World II did everything that we said we would do in order to get Mr. [redacted] the car he wanted when he wanted it. Deposits are non refundable once the customer is approved for financing. Car World II will not refund Mr. [redacted] his deposit back.
Car World II

Review: The car that I bought from Car World II is defective and doesn't run. They haven't fixed it properly or followed warranty properly.

I bought my 99 audi A6 in feb 2013. Within the first two weeks the car started falling apart. The engine had to be replaced and it was supposed to be under my 30 warranty from the dealership but they instead used my 2 year warranty without my consent. They have had my car longer in the shop with it not working since I started making payments then me actually having it on the road. I have lost my job because I didn't have a car to get to work and I couldn't afford to take care of my family, make car payments on a car I can't drive and pay people to take me to work. It is now may 15th 2013 and I have had to car towed a total of 3 times, 2 in the last 3 days. I can is stalling out and not starting. I have replaced parts out of my own pocket and there is no excuse why a car I have put less then 2,000 miles on won't start or drive.Desired Settlement: I don't want this car anymore. I want a car that actually works and can take me to work. I have no problem making car payments. The reason I wanted to get a car from a dealership was so that I can have a RELIABLE car to get to work. I don't care what kind of car I get I just want one that is reliable and will not break down within 2 weeks of me owning it. I want a car that doesn't need a motor to be replaced and a car that actually starts not causes my family to be stranded because it won't start.

Mr. [redacted] bought a used vehicle from Car World II, he also purchases a day one extended power train warranty along with the vehicle. Mr. [redacted] had a couple of issues with the vehicle which were taken care of by Car World under is 30 day or 1500 mile warranty. Mr. [redacted] had the vehicle towed after he broke down on the highway to Car World II and the diagnosis was a possible engine failure. At this time we contacted Mr. [redacted] to explain the options he has in front of him regarding the extended warranty and that the warranty company wanted to come out and inspect the vehicle to make sure it was not owner neglect which caused the major problem to the engine. This entire process was explained to Mr. [redacted] or His wife. Once the warranty work was approved by the warranty company we informed Mr. [redacted] and his wife about the ability to receive rental car reimbursement through the warranty company. There for he would have transportation while the car was being fixed. We had authorization from the customer to use the warranty which Car World II did because it is a day one warranty.

As to the resolution the customer wants, Mr. [redacted] took a loan out to purchase a vehicle and the ability to just get another vehicle is not possible because he still owes the finance company for this vehicle. On May 15th I explained all this to Mr. [redacted] when I talked to him and he was going to have his vehicle towed in to Car World II so that we could check out the vehicle and see what was causing his current issues. The car was never towed in and we have not heard from Mr. [redacted] or his wife since.

Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2013/05/21) */

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

The use of the purchased warranty was never authorized by either myself or my wife. They didn't want to pay for the repair and so they used the warranty without any authorization. When the car died again it wasn't towed to Car World II because the road side assistance wouldn't tow the car again. They said that we would have to pay out of pocket because it was the second tow in a week. I will not purchase another car from them and have 2 loans to pay off. And when it comes to rental reimbursement, when Car World II said I had it I called AUL and they said that I didn't and they didn't know why the dealership would have told us that. The car was under the dealers 30 day warranty when the engine failed. They used up my entire extended warranty without authorization. Now I have a car that doesn't even start and no warranty.

Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2013/05/22) */

Car World II has a signed authorization for the repair work done. Also why would the customer call AUL in regards to renteal reinbursment if he did not authorize Car World II to use the warranty which again is DAY ONE coverage for the vehicle.

Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2013/05/23) */

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

[redacted] did what James at Car World II told him. He said that he has rental reimbursement he didn't say that it was through AUL. We were not informed that the repair was done under the extended warranty. All Car World II is doing is cutting corners so that they don't have to make a repair. They prey on those who need a car and sell them substandard vehicles hoping that everyone will keep there mouth shut. The car was under the 30 day warranty provided by car world so therefore they should have made the repair. They didn't fix the car before they sold it. They were hoping that Mr. [redacted] would be the one to fix it and wouldn't hold them to the 30 day warranty that they gave him with the vehicle. DMV is involved. If this can't be resolved then the courts can resolve it. We have paperwork and recorded conversations that have Car World saying different things.

Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2013/05/28) */

Car World II told Mr. [redacted] to call AUL in regards to the rental car coverage. We have all the documents giving autohorization for the repair work.

Review: I purchased a vehicles from [redacted] in [redacted] on 5/22/15 not even 8 day's later! Saturday May 30th the vehicle would not start! Again this vehicle was just purchased! My salesman was very nice to me when trying to get my money and was telling me how if anything is wrong with the vehicle they would completely take care of it. Once he got my money in hand attitude and customer service changed drastically! I am extremely disappointed in [redacted] and will not recommend anybody to buy there. I will contact my attorney, the Revdex.com as well as the media and the [redacted] office. I informed my salesman about the issue they said would give me a rental and I have to pay to have the vehicle towed out to [redacted]. This is unacceptable! They sold me a lemon and their are lemon laws! They need to take this vehicle back immediately and give me a quality vehicle that runs!!! I have not received a call back regarding the so called promised rental and when I call no body answers or my sales man is on vacation. I work full time and needed a reliable vehicle to get back n fourth to work with and [redacted] sold me a piece of Junk! I know their are usually certain time frames in which they take the car back or 60 days warranty's when purchasing a used vehicle. This needs to be taken care of ASAP. Word of mouth is huge in small businesses and I know a lot of people looking to purchase vehicles. [redacted] sell's lemons and I will make sure people are aware of the lack of quality and customer service at this mom and pop dealership. Buyer Beware!Desired Settlement: [redacted] needs to take this vehicle back immediately and provide me with a vehicle that actually runs!!! They had no problem taking my money now do the right thing and take care of the customer!

The customer broke down over the weekend an that was unfortunate but we did get her a loaner vehicle by Monday evening which was the first available time. We have since taken care of all the mechanic complaints the customer has made about the vehicle she had a loaner car for the entire time we worked on her vehicle. She now has the vehicle back in her procession and according to her she is happy with her vehicle. We hope this resolves the complaint and the customer enjoys the use of her vehicle. We sell used vehicle and sometimes things happen in a short period of time and we always try our best to take care of the customer as fast as we possible can.

Review: On February 28, 2015 I [redacted] looking around the [redacted] are in ** when I stepped into Car World II, located at [redacted]. There I saw a car 2003 [redacted] that interested me at the moment. [redacted] one of the sale person at ask me for some paper work, which I provided. I left a deposit of $400.00 just to start doing the transition. They asked to shop around for insurance, which I did, them I realize it was too much monthly between the car payment and the insurance it was going to be almost $600.00 per month. I called Car World II and told them that I didn't want the car and wanted my deposit back. They are refusing to give me my $400.00 back. I didn't sign no contract, I didn't even test drive the vehicle. I do have a receipt from them where shows that I did left the $400.00 They have been very unprofessional. All I want is my $400.00.Desired Settlement: I just want my $400.00 back, if not I will file a claim at the small claim court in [redacted].

Review: Went into car world 3 on Saturday March 9th, and was looking into purchasing a vehicle. I was interested in the Honda Accord 2004 that they had on the lot and went into the building to talk with [redacted] who stated that he was the general manager.I gave him my general information that he needed at the time and put down $1,00.00 to have the vehicle taken off the lot.[redacted] stated that he was going to get back to me with the financing details that following Monday March 12,2013.[redacted] left a message on my phone on March 12,2013 and let me know what the monthly payments would be and how much more he needed down for the Honda Accord, after receiving the message I called back to see if anything else could be looked at because the amount they wanted for the 2004 Honda Accord car monthly was way too much. After much consideration I decided that I did not want to continue with the purchase of this particular vehicle. On March 16,2013 I called [redacted] to let him know I was no longer interested in purchasing the vehicle and was told that I would not be receiving my down payment back.Later that afternoon I went to speak with [redacted] at Car World lll and once again said I wasn't going to be buying the 2004 Honda Accord ,he was very irate and kept repeating that I could not get my down payment back. I then asked to see the paperwork that I signed and was told that it wasn't there, which was very suspicious,[redacted] stated that it would be there on Monday March 18th.I came back to Car World lll on Monday March 18th to look over the paperwork/sales agreement and noticed that my signature was falsified on a couple of papers,I then stated that I would file a complaint.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2013/04/15) */

On Sat. March 9th 2013 I [redacted] General Manager Spoke with [redacted] about purchasing a 2004 Honda Accord. [redacted] put down a 1000.00 dollar deposit on the vehicle and signed a credit application, retail purchase order, H-13, Q1 bill of sale and an odometer statement. [redacted] was interested in getting the vehicle in a couple of weeks. I called [redacted] that Monday and left a message for her to call me back so I could go over all the information I received from the finance company. When [redacted] called back I informed her that the finance company had approved the loan and that the payments and down payment that we had discussed on Saturday would work with the deal, which was a total of 4000.00 down and payments of 96.08 a week, which she said she could do. She then called in on I think on Friday to tell me she would have the balance of the down payment quicker than a few weeks. Then on Saturday [redacted] called in and said she wanted her deposit back, I stated that she had signed a retail purchase order which states that there is no refund of deposit.

The reason I did not have the paperwork to show her when she came was because the finance company still had the paperwork so I had to request it from the finance company. I received the paperwork back from the finance company and showed it to [redacted].
