Sherriff-Goslin installed a roof on my [redacted] , [redacted] home in By 2010, we had serious leakage issues, thanks to poorly installed flashing They did not replace the flashing; instead, they caulked over the seam with silicone caulking Great job, guys This has led to unsightly plaster damage in the ceilings of my home, which they profess they will not pay for Starting in 2014, we noticed a soft spot on the roof, and there's rotting issues on the soffit from the roof not moving water properly I've been calling them for weeks with no response, and am considering legal action All calls go directly to an answering service, and they can't tell you anything about when you might get a call back (hint: it's between the next leap year and never, oh wait it's never) They are extremely reluctant to honor the warranty on their roofing work, which makes sense, once you realize how shoddy the work is and they basically would have to do the whole thing over again I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy Once you go with Sherriff-Goslin, you're locked in, as no other roofer can purchase their stupid "extra-special now with rainbow sparkles" roofing shingles I'd rather have a roof installed by people that actually knew what they were doing with shingles than their unicorn-magic shingles, which have led to nothing but headaches for me and my young family Stay away from S-G like the Bubonic, folks

Because SHERRIFF-GOSLIN has been around for over years, I thought that they would surely be the ones to know all there is to know about roofing products Also, because their pricing was about 20% higher than other roofing companies, I assumed that was because their shingles (which they make themselves) were of significantly higher quality than every other shingle This was confirmed to me by their sales repwhose sold me the job I thought I wouldn't need to think about a new roof again for 25-years HOWEVER.......I had Sherriff-Goslin re-roof my Michigan home years agoLoved the quick installation, but now the shingles are all curled up and now my homeowners insurance is requiring that I re-roof AGAIN or they'll cancel my coverage BEWARE!!! Their poor grade shingles will cost you a premium price over other roofers products and you'll be paying for another new roof in a few years!

From start to finish this company was top notch From my initial meeting with the owner, to the day Jamie and Kyle walked onto my property They were professional, courteous, friendly, and hard workersTruly wont have to look for another landscaper We have found how a business should be run in Irvington Landscaping And we will certainly be asking for Jamie and Kyle there again

We chose Sherriff-Goslin Company to do soffet and fascia repair work Both my husband and I had family use the company before without issues Getting the contract went smoothly and with no issues The first issue that we faced was the contractor only took up one row of shingles instead of the stated 2-on the contract It was very obvious that he only did one, but the contractor told his supervisor did two The first lie has started We had a hard time getting a hold of them to fix it, but they did fix it The next issue was that the contractor never put down tarps when he was pulling things down out of the soffets so we had insulation, nails and roofing piece everywhere This was the second lie because the contractor told his supervisor that he put down tarps but he clearly did not The supervisor did have to come back out to the house and saw that his cleanup was no where near satisfactory The contractor had to come back out and try to clean up again In the meantime, we had collected a sandwich size Ziploc of nails, including an intact row from a nail gun, out of our yard and driveway The final night that the contractor was working on our house and cleaning up, my husband drove over yet another nail in our driveway and got a flat tire Luckily, the dealership patched the tire for free When the supervisor came out to our house for a final time to collect payment, he acted totally sexist and would not budge on a refund for our hassle The contractor still had left a piece of plywood on the side of the house which the supervisor took with him and said he would give me $off the $project for the plywood because that was what the plywood costs but nothing else I got $more off, but that was it I then spoke to corporate who listened to my concerns but wanted to get stories from the contractor and the supervisor, and then he would call me back It took him weeks to call back and when he finally did, it was the Columbus supervisor who called me He lied too! He said the supervisor who was in charge of our house took pictures of the mess, and he never took So he lied to try to cover himself upHe then tried to say that a piece of plywood costs $10-so a $refund was adequate I felt he was also sexist and assumed that I had never been to a home improvement store, because that was a lie too How can one supervisor state that plywood costs $and the other one say that it costs $10- He would not budge either on a refund and stated that his employee already went above and beyond when he came out to our house for a second time and that was enough effort He offered to come out to our house again, but that would have done no good at all so I deferred All together an awful experience with lying and sexist men Don't use!!!!!!!!!!

Called Sherriff Goslin Roofing and Tom answered to schedule me for an estimate. [redacted] came out, took measurements of the roof, spent a good 3 hours on a Friday answering all my questions, telling me about the Sherriff Goslin Co., and explaining their roofing methods and materials. I had a complete roof tear off, new roof, soffits, gutters, fascia, and downspouts installed. The crew came out on time, worked diligently all day; both [redacted] and Tom (the manager) were working along side of the crew. Everything was installed well, all debris was cleaned up, and hauled away. Overall a great experience from start to finish.
