I am rejecting this response because: First, I never committed perjury or fraud against the Internal Revenue Service I never received the Retainer Agreement from Deutch Consulting Deutch Consulting did not ask me to sign a Retainer at the time I gave them a Retainer check for their minimum retainer fee of $ [redacted] Deutch misrepresented herself as a Tax Attorney and therefore demanded $per hour A few days after I gave her my check for $I checked the California State Bar website and saw that she has been disbarred and can no longer practice law in the State of California The certified letter that I received did not include an invoice detailing the $which she will not return I am again demanding Deutch Consulting to refund me immediately the $as no work was performed and she misrepresented herself as an attorney

As I previously indicated, the client met us, made verbal agreement to retain us, gave us a check to proceedThere was no request to see any written fee agreement prior to making a verbal contract to proceedAs previously supplied, we did many hours of work for this client that she demanded to be done immediately after meeting her on that same dayWe did email her a copy of the fee agreement and she never returned it to usAlthough that is a moot point since she made a verbal contract with us and gave us a retainer at the time of the meetingAccording to contract law, if she was intending on reviewing any agreement prior to providing a check she had that option but instead, elected to proceed with a verbal agreementTechnically there was no need for any written agreementI hope this makes senseShe has no basis for any complaintWe refunded her $and only charged her for hours of work in good faith when we actually spent more like hours! Thank you for bringing to us the attention of the complaint from [redacted]. I would like to include that [redacted] indicates that she was told that [redacted] was an attorney from her friend. She NEVER asked [redacted] or myself if [redacted] was an attorney, nor did [redacted] represent she was an attorney at any...

time. So for [redacted] to state that she was "Scammed" is wrong and irresponsible. We discussed significant strategy which included [redacted] stating that she would like to meet with [redacted]'s CPA at his office, and [redacted] liked this strategy. Like the Refund Request Letter indicates, [redacted] was upset, anxious, and was looking for immediate action. She knew that we were jumping right in to review documents, research the possibilities of wrong doing by her CPA, and make a recommendation. We went directly to work, that sane afternoon and the days following. In the end, our findings which were clearly laid out in the Refund Request Letter, was that [redacted]'s CPA did not have accurate financial information to base his recommendation on as the value of the home as described in her financial documents were significantly lower than the true fair market value. There was no intention to " Scam " [redacted], only to consult her and provide her with consulting services which we did. I am rejecting this response because:  First, I never committed perjury or fraud against the Internal Revenue Service.  I never received the Retainer Agreement from Deutch Consulting.  Deutch Consulting did not ask me to sign a Retainer at the time I gave them a Retainer check for their minimum retainer fee of $1500.  [redacted] Deutch misrepresented herself as a Tax Attorney and therefore demanded $300 per hour.  A few days after I gave her my check for $1500 I checked the California State Bar website and saw that she has been disbarred and can no longer practice law in the State of California.  The certified letter that I received did not include an invoice detailing the $900 which she will not return.  I am again demanding Deutch Consulting to refund me immediately the $900 as no work was performed and she misrepresented herself as an attorney.
