to spraying through the recommended and traditional automotive spray gun set up. We do not guarantee color match on any of the mixed paints that we pump into aerosol spray cans as an aerosol spray can cannot atomize the paint like a traditional automotive spray gun set up is able to. The paint match to a factory color can be affected by what type of method is used to apply the paint. The customer was shown a chip, and selected the chip of what the paint would look like if the paint was sprayed using a traditional automotive spray gun set up, not what the paint would look like being sprayed out of an aerosol spray can. When the customer contacted me about wanting a refund for the aerosol spray can he purchased I informed him that we do not offer refunds on any mixed paints. In these situations I typically ask for a piece of the vehicle that I can hold on to so that the paint can be manually color matched to the piece that is provided. We do ask for up to 5 business days to complete any color match and this was something that the customer was not interested in doing. I also informed the customer that once the color matching process was complete that I would provide him with another spray can free of charge. He was also not interested in that option as well and decided that filing a formal complaint against me and my company with the Revdex.com was a better solution to this issue. After receiving the initial compliant letter I called the customer to inform him that I would issue a complete refund on the aerosol spray can he purchased. Attached with this email is a copy of the refund that was issued to the customer.
