Hello,
Thank you for the inquiry. We believe we have been trying to help Mr***, unfortunately he does not feel the same. Mr*** came in with his battery having difficulty starting after leaving it for several days undriven. When he came in we did do a battery test and
parasitic draw test at no charge to the customer. Both showed behavior from the vehicle. The parasitic draw from the vehicle registers at 44-mA*** allows up to from the vehicle itself. The aftermarket starter that has been installed will constantly draw some power on top of that. Even though the tests came back to be working exactly as *** specifies it should, we did try to offer multiple solutions, but none were deemed acceptable by Mr***. The aftermarket starter does take a substantial draw on the battery so we could try disengaging the starter. The other would be to drive it a bit more in order to engage the alternator, and that way the battery will stay charged. The last solution, which we offered to pay for, was to install a trickle charger. We would install it for the customer at our cost and he would be able to plug it in just like a block heater. He would not need to do this all the time, once it was charged once a week would most likely be more than sufficient to keep his battery charged. We thought this would be a good solution for the customer as it is the least inconvenience and would be no money out of pocket for him. I would like to restate though, the vehicle was working as the manufacturer intended so these solutions were meant for us trying to go above and beyond in order to keep our customer satisfied. I am sorry you're having trouble with your approval, we know this can be frustrating we strive to make that process as easy as possible for our customersIn this case it appears
there was miscommunication somewhere*** works for us as assistant and only deals via email*** our finance representative does have notes(She is very good at documenting customers) regarding your conversations on the phone, which I would be happy to shareOn June 11th, it is noted "talked to *** about ***'s decisionShe is unable to meet any conditionsAdvised I would try elsewhere and call her Monday." She referenced a direct call on the 11th regarding a conversation about the issue of where to look for an approvalThen when *** emailed *** back, ***(our salesperson) and *** tried phoning on the 12th and left a voicemailWe never received a response backI also tried to phone on the 17th after receiving this complaint, again we did not receive a call backTo address another issue, we did only send it to three other banks(not 6) outside of *** where her name was spelt correctly on all submissionsWe feel that the other dealer may have been giving her information due to the fact the conditions on her approval were extensiveWe don't know of a way to get this off of the *** bureau but if possible we will make the requestIf any documentation/notes are requested we are happy to provide them for you and want to work with you for a best case outcome for youThank you and we look forward to hearing back from you
