Review: Contacted Sherwood Valley Pools & Nursery Inc to install a snap in Foxx Cover on a 16' x 32' in ground pool for the close of the 2014 season. Sherwood has been closing the pool for the last 10 years with a hefty price increase each year. This year they installed this custom fit cover incorrectly resulting in gaps in two areas around the coping. One nickel size hole with the cover scrunched up like the top of a garbage bag by the diving board and one by the sliding Board areas. No warning or call was made to indicate there was an issue with the install. When Sherwood was called the installer claimed that they "just could not get it to go in". His flippant attitude was unacceptable to me and the reason for this claim. I then stated that we do all the work as far as cleaning and adding chemicals. The only thing Sherwood has to accomplish is to install the snap in cover and blow out the return lines to add antifreeze. Both were not done correctly.I then asked with the yearly price increase "what am I paying $250 for? You mean to tell me that professionals can't take the time to line up the seams and install a snap in cover correctly?" With that the Sherwood employee said not to call them ever again and to get someone else or install it myself.We have installed this cover many times before. It is very cumbersome and time consuming but should be a non issue for professionals with the correct edging tools to snap the liner into the grooved coping.Sherwood also did not call the contact number given when they did not have power to blow out the return lines to add antifreeze. We could have had someone there in 15 to 20 min to turn the power on outside for the air compressors. Instead Sherwood just used what air was left in the tank to install a minimal amount. When contacted later they said to just purchase more antifreeze and just pour it into the return lines. No offer to come out and fix the cover or come back at a later time when power was available was given by Sherwood.Desired Settlement: Partial or full Refund requested.
