Review: I bought a wig at [redacted]s Wig Salon almost two years ago for $2350, of which $500 was for the cut. The wig stylist cut it in a way that I felt did not suit my face, and the owner of the salon, [redacted], agreed readily to resell the piece and let me choose another one after she sells it. She sold it immediately,yet I was kept waiting for almost a half a year, until they "found" another wig for me. I am a basic brown, average wavy, and it was strange to me that they kept telling me not to come because they had no suitable piece for me. Finally when I got a call that they found a good wig for me, I made an appointment. But when I arrived, the wig was washed, dripping wet, so that I had no opportunity to inspect it. I mentioned this to the employee who was serving me, and she reassured me that it was a beautiful piece, just right for me. In retrospect, I was rushed into the stylist's chair but just before he began cutting, the employee came over to me and said that the owner, [redacted], insists that I add another $250 for the cut. It seemed wrong, considering that she collected the full amount of the wig I had given back to her PLUS the $500 for the cut. I felt forced to pay the additional $250, so I did. By now the wig had cost me around $2600!After wearing it for a week or two, I noticed that the hair was clumping and falling limp. I brought it back to [redacted], who said she would "treat" it. This happened several more times, which should not happen with high quality European human hair. Finally when it kept happening, I took it to an independent stylist who is one of [redacted]'s largest retailers. She examined the piece and told me it was an inferior wig. She tried to negotiate with [redacted], because she saw that I had no luck in reasoning with [redacted]. Neither she nor I have had any success. [redacted] continues to hold on to my money, and I have no wig. The wig is sitting in her salon.Desired Settlement: A full refund. I have lost my confidence in [redacted]'s wigs and in her customer service. After reviewing her on the internet, and speaking to others, I've found numerous complaints by customers who felt that she took their money and failed to stand behind her product and honor her commitment to serve her customers honestly. I will not take a replacement piece at this point because I believe she will try to pass one of her inferior pieces along to me as she did in the past. If there's no new remune

We have been in business for over 25 years –this being our first interaction with you, appreciate the opportunity to explain this issue to you.

[redacted] purchased a wig from us, paid for the wig and then wore it for two months before she decided that the cut and shape did not suit her. She then came back to [redacted] to request an exchange for a new wig.

As all our wigs come customized with cut and color, our policy is, therefore, that unless there is an inherent manufacturing issue all our sales are final. This wig was cut by our stylist [redacted]. We are very clear when discussing with a customer who wants his cut, that he is a modern, forward thinking stylist, and if you sit in his chair, you are willing to accept his vision for you. [redacted] had cut wigs with [redacted] before, and she knew his style when she sat down in his chair. Two months later, she decided his vision was not working for her, and she came back to return the wig. Nevertheless, we agreed to exchange the wig for her, and give her a replacement, in the interest of customer service.

When we received a suitable replacement in size, color, length and texture, we called her, and set an appointment for [redacted] (who comes to the salon every three weeks). We insist a customer come in and approve a wig , prior to the cut, however despite numerous phone calls to her, the cutting date with [redacted] came without her looking at the piece. On the day of her appointment, as always, she came LATE to her appointment, and we had already prepared and washed the wig.

She then came back the second time again to complain that the second wig was not suitable for her. We washed and set it here at our salon, and was happy with the result. After repeatedly calling up to complain, we again saw the piece and washed it and returned it to her perfectly set.

We feel that the second piece –like the first is a gorgeous wig --the cut is fabulous, and the hair is beautiful.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Review: I had placed a credit card dispute on this wig I purchased for $2500, since I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. Elon, owner of shevy wigs wrote a letter to the credit card company saying that they offered to do any repair on the wig, and so I didn't pursue the dispute and the money was returned to the merchants bank on 9/**/15. I sent in my wig to shevy wigs on 11/**/15 for repair, and on 11/**/15 I get a call from Elon saying that they received the wig, but they still haven't received the credit card payment of $2500, so if he doesn't receive the money within 3 days, he's re-selling the wig. I assured him that the credit card company said they deposited him the money, and he said he'll refund me my $2500 for the wig, once I prove to him that the credit card deposited the $2500 in his bank. The supervisors from [redacted] dispute made a conference call to him numerous times and assured him the money was deposited in his account. He asked for a formal letter from [redacted] stating that. The letter was faxed and emailed to him several times starting 12/**/15, and since then he has NOT returned any of our countless messages and emails. Now he has our $2500 and the wig! This is FRAUD!Desired Settlement: For Elon E[redacted], owner of shevy wigs, to keep his word and refund our $2500 for the wig.
