Company lied about final inspection and I am now in violation of Weston code. Company notified, ignoring all further calls.
Shield Proof Roofing replaced my flat roof in 2017. Supposedly had final inspection and was paid in full. I just received notification from City of Weston that permit had not been completed. Spoke with ***, owner, and he said he would take care of this. He called me back, told me he had spoken with Weston and it was a mistake. All he had to do was bring his copy to their office and it would be cleared. I asked that he bring me proof. He did not and I called Weston only to find that he had not called and never had final inspection. I was informed that I would have to hire another roofer to take over permit and get inspection. I cannot afford this. I have placed numerous calls to Shield Proof to no avail. I am now in jeopardy of fines and liens and perhaps will lose my home due to all this money I do not have.
I want Mr. to immediately contact the Weston Building Department, arrange for inspection, and give me a copy of final inspection. This needs to be handled by him immediately.
Consumer stated that the business has resolved the issue.
February 2017 I hired *** of Shield Proof Roofing to put a new roof on my house. In April of 2018 the roof began leaking, Mr. was called about the leaking roof. He always comes at his own convenience time. He has been here 14 times trying to fix the roof and has made the situation with the roof worst. He always has an excuse why the roof is leaking. On September 5, 2018 the inside of the roof finally cave in. Mr. of Shield f=roof roofing was notified of the situation. Instead of him coming to see the problem, he sent one of his workers. Me and my husband told the worker to tell Mr. to come and see the damages he has caused. He finally came on Saturday, September 15,2018 with every excuse he could of find why he can't replace the roof. A few days late, my husband and Mr. got into a heated argument about replacing the roof and the damages that was caused inside the house. I called him to find out what the problem was. He told me my husband want him to pay him to fix the inside damages of the house. I told him my husband spend a lot of time and money and if he could not fix a roof he cannot fix the inside. I ask him for his insurance information to file a claim and he said his insurance would get in contact with me and hang up on me. My house has a really bad mold scent. I need this problem to be taken care of. I need to get his insurance information and I need to be paid for the damages that was caused in my house and personal property.

Good afternoon. I would like to point out that the issue was not on the entire roof. The Liburds had not issues until a year later only on the flat roof area. It was a challenging repairs but after attempts Shield Proof Roofing fixed the situation. Due to the leakage in the flat roof area a 3x3 area came down in the living room. The Liburds contacted my insurance agent and made an appointment on September 15,2018 to repair the living room area. It was a confirmed appointment by both the *** and myself. On Saturday the 15, I went to the Liburds residence to do the living room ceiling repair and Mr. refuse to go further because his wife had to go to work and cancelled. The following Monday September 17, 2018 I recieved a text message from Mr. stating that he can do it himself and pay him $3600 by the next morning. I refused because I have my own crew to do these repairs. He then send a second text message stating "Please don't come back to my place thank you".
The *** wanted me to go to their residence the minute they would always call me without being understanding that I was in the middle of other projects, yet I never refuse I always sent one of my workers or myself. Please let me know if you need anything else. Thank you.

In response to Mr. and Shield Proof Roofing, I am attaching all the damages to my roof because of Mr. (Shield Proof Roofing) negligence. Mr. was call to my home 15 time from May to September and was unable to fix the damages he caused to my roof. Tell me why after 1 year with a 7 warranty it was raining in my house? If he know, the roof was difficult to fix he never should taken have the job. I called his insurance because I need my roof fix and he did not want to file a claim against his insurance. I don't know how he can live with himself knowing all the damages he has cause to my roof, ceiling and personal property. I want Mr. to know water doesn't stand still it runs. I have water damages in my family room, kitchen and bedroom. My husband told him not to come back because all he was doing was make the situation worst. Mr. is a very difficult person to deal with and I don't have the patient with his attitude. It don't take 15 visits to fix a roof if your a professional and know what your doing.

I hired Shield proof roofing to repair a leak in my roof and the roof leaked immediately after the repair when it rained. I contacted Shield proof roofing and they came back to repair roof and it did not stop leaking. After 6 attempts at repairing the leaking roof they gave up and never responded to my calls. They left the roof unfinished and worst than when I first contacted them to repair. It leaks a lot more than it had originally. They will not answer my calls. I was told they would come back to repair and 3 weeks has gone by and no one ever showed from this company. I was given a one year warranty and it has only been 5 months.

We went several times back to the location and problem was fixed. After last visit to repair the issue leak had stopped and I never heard from the owner again and no calls as well from him.
