Shield Protection

Review: In October 2012 I was contacted stating that Shield Protection and [redacted] (which was my current alarm security company)had emerged to one and that I needed to sign a new contract because of the different names of the company. I asked if my contract was up. They told me yes. They had personal information about me that I took their words for it. After signing the contract, I was told to by them to call [redacted] to cancel. When I called [redacted] to cancel, they told me that the contract was not over until three more months. I contacted Shield Protection and they told me that they will reimburse me back, which they never did. Last month December 2015, I received a phone call from [redacted] AKA [redacted] wanting to renew my contract. They told me that Shield Protection was sold to them. I told them I wanted to cancel my contract because I have been dissatisfy with the company's service and not to send me the packet. I confirmed with the represenative at that time if I can cancel because my contract was over. She said, "yes". When I installed [redacted], I called to cancel, they told me that I can't cancel because of my contract renewed for another year due to not writing them a cancellation letter 60 days before it ended. When they sent me my contract, I compared with what I have and the contract does not match. I also believe that they forged my signature on their contract. I contacted them regarding my contract and they told me to get a police report. The police station told me that they do not do police report for situation like this. The company refuse to end my contract as of the date I contacted them which is January 26,2016.Desired Settlement: I have attempted to call the phone number on my contract and it has been discontinued, the company is no longer at that address. However, the phone number on their contract is still active. Because of the contract not being the same,I want the contract to end. I do not want to continue to pay them for a service that they are not providing. My contract will not be over until October 2016.

Review: I have set up with a three year alarm contract which is illegal in the State of CADesired Settlement: I would like to either walk away from my contract or to be refund for service that I am not responsible for.
