To whom it may concern,
Cricket Wireless has a day in store return policy for all devices. This is clearly marked on every receipt and online. We do allow exchanges in store for defective devices with the first days of the customers
purchase. Further, every new phone sold at any Cricket Wireless location has a month manufacturer warranty. This would cover any defect including the one described by this customer. The customer *** *** purchased the phone on September 5th and by October 28th is unfortunately outside the return window. However, there is still a replacement option through the manufacturer of the device. There are many options with the warranty. The option that is no cost to the customer is one where the customer sends the defective device in and a replacement device (or repaired device) is sent back. This can take up to days to complete. Faster options for this customer include paying a deposit and $fee for overnight shipping. Once the phone has been determined to be defective and free of damage, etcthen the customer would receive the deposit back.
On November 18th, I attempted to contact the customer. Unfortunately, no one answered her phone but I did leave a message asking her to contact me directly to resolve the issue.
Due to ***’s extreme dissatisfaction with the situation, we are willing to provide the customer a temporary phone to use at no cost while her original phone is sent it to be replaced or repaired.
