What sort of dollar amount do you anticipate the carpet repairs would be?We attempted to have the carpets cleaned for weeks after the latex paint was over-sprayed on the carpet Numerous emails, calls, and requests - they were all denied We were told to wait and that the only resolution was 100% their way or no way We have logs of the multiple calls and emails that took place for months after we were asked to leave the project. If we were afforded the opportunity to have the carpets cleaned again, we could have removed the overspray Latex paint can be removed from carpet By letting it sit for months and cure -replacement of those areas may or may not be the only option We cannot tell as we have closed our Dallas operations and have no employees out there.Shift Painting received dollars We incurred the cost of the paint and the labor to paint the areas, including areas that did not require re-painting or touch up We would expect that the client would need to pay to have the remaining areas painted. There seemed to be a request for some sort of dollar amount to resolve this issue Let us know the amount of the request and we will take it under consideration We have already incurred thousands of this project - far beyond the original contract amount - and have received zero compensation. We are very sorry for all the headache and hassle this has created At the same time, this is all very frustrating on our end because we were not afforded the opportunity to really own and take care of the issues - this could have all been resolved months ago at a much lower cost to everyone if we had been allowed to just complete the project I understand the concerns, but if you expect to hold a company accountable - which you should - they must be afforded the opportunity to fully resolve the issues When that opportunity is denied, it is unreasonable to expect them to be accountable for the timeline and methods someone else adoptsBest Regards,Jim

Ms ***, At your request, we painted an accent above your garage a red color We were just painting the house the colors you requested When you hire us, we work for you, not for your HOA Please explain to us why this matter is now our responsibility?

Repairs needed to the wood floor really need to be performed by the company who installed it as they are the ones most likely to be able to match the wood and stain to avoid the risk of needing to sand and restain the entire floor. An attempt to clean the carpet was made and did not get all of the paint outThe carpet on the stairs and the upstairs hall and loft area needs to be replaced. we have already needed to replace three of the blinds at our expense and replaces all of the outlets that were painted while uncovered at at this point I would be happy with just the two flooring issues be paid for so they can be addressedWe have paid out of pocket to repaint the entire main area of the home

We have been in touch with the clientMy General Manager is scheduled to meet in person later this week to review what she needsWe are eager to take care of any painting issues she may have. As soon as we meet, I will be able to update you with the plan of action to resolve. We intend
to take care of this as soon as possible.***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
Regards,
[redacted]

We have at least 12 documented attempts to return to the site and to remedy the issues at hand.  Mr. [redacted] refused to allow us back to the site to take care of any repairs or to remedy any aspect of the situation.  He was at the time wanting to do all the repairs himself from people...

he chose.  His request was for us to pay vendors of his choosing to do the work and would not accept our attempts to remedy.  I tried to explain that we needed to be afforded the opportunity to take care of all the repairs, but he did not like that solution.
