Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I went and had a conversation with the lady at the front deskI told her how the room was unacceptable and asked to only stay the one night instead of my scheduled twoI would not have stayed that night except nothing else was available within a hour driveI think you are avoiding the real issue hereIn a response on facebook you admitted your hotel was in disrepairStill to this day you post pictures of rooms that are not a good representationI am trying to be civil and you need to remember your in the business of hospitality.(I hope you know that) I insist on a full refundSincerely,*** ***

Good morning, [redacted], Our hotel is a non-smoking hotel throughout. Our registration card that Mr. [redacted] signed explains that he is responsible for the room and there is a $350 smoking fee for deep cleaning. Upon his checkout, we found cigarette butts and ashes in the room and the room smelled...

strongly of cigarette smoke. We charged him accordingly. Nevertheless; the $350 has been returned to Mr. [redacted]’s card as a gesture of goodwill. There never was any attempt at fraud as alleged. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.   Thank you,   [redacted] Wood General Manager

Thank you for sending me this information. We take these comments very seriously and always strive to provide the best service possible to our guests. Upon review of the situation with my staff, the guests in question indeed refused to be accommodated. We were not aware that this guest was not...

happy with the compensation offered and we would have welcomed the opportunity to discuss this further with upper management that may have been able to resolve this matter. Unfortunately, this did not happen, At this point, we stand by our previous decision.
