Company states: The consumer's insurance company enlisted us to provide the work and we followed procedureHer insurance company has informed us to no longer communicate with her

I am rejecting this response because: Whether that is true or not, they are, to what they have told me, trying to get information from this companyThe pictures sent to me only contained very few of the items all of which they packed and broke due to packing out the kitchen with no paper or packing materials, even though they charged me for them, plus the towels and sheets I used to mop up the black waterThe paperwork they sent said items were there that were not, and that a fifth generation rum cake pedestal was unbroken and sent back, however it was in three pieces and all wrapped separately, so they flat out lied about it to me and on the paperwork! Plus pictures of items they sent contained items they did not list, and they told me they had pictures of every box and item, they didn't even send pictures of the big items like the couch! And they say they didn't lose stuff, because they had pictures of some items, like a Fedora that was the only thing left to me when my grandpa died, at 1/years oldIt was his Sunday hat and very special to mePlus lost the hat on antique Dutch dolls that cannot be replacedWhere are the pictures they say they had? Why was a box marked clothes filled with other people's things including supermarket bags? Not professional or following protocol as to what another company told me, and what I have read when inventorying things by a cleaning companyAlso upstairs was cross contaminated and yet they didn't take and sterilize those items or the mold from the flooding that caused black mold on shelves cleaned like promisedThose had to be thrown and were special made for me out of pick wick cedar boards!

To Whom it may concern:RE: ID# [redacted] In response to the complaint filed June 14, 2015 by [redacted], December of 2015 Ms. [redacted] contacted Servpro of Auburn/Rocklin seeking advice regarding how to handle a sewage spill in her rented condo, during this time we...

explained the process of how such a loss is handled at that point Ms. [redacted] contracted with Servpro of Auburn/Rocklin to handle to cleaning and disposal of her affected contents. Servpro of Auburn/Rocklin followed protocol throughout the entire loss. Unfortunately Ms. [redacted] seemed to be a bit unstable vacillating back and forth from being fully satisfied and grateful for the assistance we provided in the process to unsatisfied and somewhat abusive. Servpro of Auburn/Rocklin address each of Ms. [redacted] concerns provided her with all photos and documents relating to her loss as well as reimbursement for damaged items by subtracting the relate dollar amount from her final invoice. I have included here a settlement letter from Ms. [redacted], as well as a screen shot of Servpro of Auburn/Rocklin’s Face Book page where Ms. [redacted] made statements of satisfaction regarding her dealings with our company. At this time we feel that we have done all that we can do to bring this issue to a satisfactory conclusion.Sincerely,[redacted] Office Manager

I am rejecting this response because: ServPro was hired by my landlord. They did not allow me the time to find anyone else as they required my things removed immediately. I am disabled and they knew that and took advantage of this, by stating that if I hired them, they would then remove my things from the premises (kitchen area, with care and careful packing), but they threw them in boxes without packaging. The boxes remained on the property through out the whole drying process, which I paid for because I paid [redacted], and they were extremely lacking in detail in all aspects of the list of unsalvageable items. The "agreement" was a forced agreement, as they called me and told me that if I did not pay what they wanted by that day then they were heading to the court house in the morning. I was not verbally abusive with them, but had many concerns about their treatment of my items and the missing items they said were returned which were not returned to me. Including items given to me that were not mine, but they did not come and get them, nor find my missing boxes.I repeatedly asked them about items they said were fine that were not fine, and I know how I packed the items that were flooded and there is no way the damage that was done to some of the most important items were done by my packaging and I can prove that by common sense. They told me that they do not handle animal or human medications however those items are no where to be found, so they did have them. Everything I own is in my home. It has all been sorted and gone through. Items destroyed were not listed appropriately. If I at any time was rude it was due to the lack of their record keeping for instance, they gave no size to the area rug that they threw away, the brand of the couch and recliner, etc. I had to keep asking for information and as per [redacted] her issue with my landlord was why they did not want to do the job at [redacted]. I had a witness to all this. No one ever gave me any option to use another company as they had made a contract with [redacted] and in order to get started with what they were doing for [redacted], they forced their services on me. Or they were going to decline to assist [redacted]. Now that I know how careless they are, I wish they had. The change in the reports to them and on FB were at their request. They were not my true feelings and they knew that by my emails. They knew by my first payment that they had not only been careless with their reporting but they had not even followed their contract. Before they dispose of anything they are supposed to allow me to look at the items and let them know if I want them saved and they did not. I would not know if I felt the couch could be saved unless they showed me the couch, which they did not. They were supposed to include EVERY item that was unpacked and repacked with detailed pictures (pictures of every item) and they did not do this. [redacted] refused to take calls, held on to my furniture after I requested it back, and then charged me for storage that exceeds what I would have paid in my home town. We lived in a rank motel and I couldn't even give my dogs their medicine and had to replace all of mine and my sons, Tylenol, Advair, Proair, and many more and had to take my dog to the vet to get more and to have the skin conditions fixed, had they reported the items, they would have already been replaced. Items that were extremely important to me were handled with no concern of what was done to them. These are things that were not known before the company made a "deal" with me and before they threatened to take me to court and bullied me into changing my reviews on them. Derrick called and told me that the insurance was taking care of certain items, that he had spoken to my adjuster and the adjuster said these conversations were not resolved and not to pay. But because they threatened me and I care about my credit and my bills, I paid under protest. See the original checks which state how much I felt they over charged. They are giving you snippets. I have NOT received the photos, as although I requested them in the beginning they did not send them. I have not seen what they sent to the insurance and have yet to see the ones they were "supposedly sending me." but I have pictures of the boxes of food and what went into many of them, and they did not document them all. They stated not to use ANYTHING plastic but returned plastic items. The dishes, glasses, cups, they told me could go right into the cupboard as they were cleaned and sanitized. They stunk of chemicals and ServPro knew the volatile condition of my son. They gave [redacted]'s insurance recommendations that all items had been not only cross contaminated but contaminated by spores, but my items in the same room (which it was us and our dogs that were doing the cross contaminating as we did not know we were not supposed to be there, or where the original flooding was coming from). They bent over backwards for him when he was the one calling them abusive language and treating them disrespectfully and I was merely asking information and trying to keep my things separated from the man they told me they hated and didn't want to work with. They broke precious items and would not pay, argued about their responsibility. and said they were suing me, and now they want you to think that I willingly said, it is okay that you broke and lost my things and that I am okay with it... I settled on items they stated that the insurance would not pay, they stated the insurance had told them (Derek did) that they would for sure pay for... even though they know that they caused the damage. Before Derek even took the Uhaul he made sure it was packed well and with the witness of others made the comment that it was and that it would be fine to move as safely as it had been packed. If they packed my whole house the way they packed my kitchen I would have nothing left.I have talked with other services and many items they threw away before letting me see it, could have been saved, every box should have had many pictures and EVERY item should have been logged and this was not done. They make a contract with a person who they do not allow the time to choose another company, then they do not follow their own contract... and they lie about what they broke, and about what the insurance company told them, or are calling the insurance company liars... and now they say that I was not nice to them. They sent me someone else's trash! And when I told them, they said, "that happens." Well where is the rest of my things? This company likes to discuss their other clients (like telling me that [redacted] had called [redacted] so many names and that he had cancelled so many times that they did not want to work with him, but were giving him one more chance). Now they are virtually saying the same things about me... but I do not use those types of words and I did not choose to hire them. Derek was there to take out [redacted]'s cabinets and he literally talked me into signing a document on a small ipad looking device, promising to protect my things and they did not do this. To my knowledge the insurance is subrogating against ServPro for their lack of records and for their miss handling and breaking of my things. Also for saying not to keep plastic but then returning it and expecting me to believe it was safe for us... especially with my son's and I's medical issues and my son's lack of natural immunities due to dwarfism. It is time to hold ServPro to the standards that Service Master and other reputable cleaning companies are being held to, and who follow the laws in place.[redacted] (Professor at University of Phoenix but currently on disability due to a severe injury in April of 2014)
