Voucher purchased via [redacted] company refusing to complete pre-purchased service.[redacted] Voucher # XXXXXXXXXXXXXPurchase Date: September 6th 2013I began by making for phone calls over the course of 2 weeks to schedule an appointment. I missed 1 phone call from a blocked number after the first call I made, and the proceeded to make the following 3 call attempts to schedule. Finally, after complaining to [redacted] I e-mailed the company directly on September 22nd 2013. They responded and scheduled me for 3 weeks out, October 11th 2013. On October 10th 2013 they called me to reschedule my appointment til the 28th or 29th, another 3 weeks. After having already waited 5 weeks I was not in the mood to wait another 3 additionally. I called the gentleman back an voiced my complaints, I used no foul language and did not yell. I told him that this was getting out of hand and had already been an outstanding issue. He made NO attempts to rectify the situation in any manner. I complained to him that I was trying to have a service rendered that I had already paid for. I told him to go ahead and schedule me and I would be contact [redacted] to attempt a refund. He then told me to go ahead and contact [redacted] for a refund because now he didn't want to provide me service anyway. I am attempting that avenue now. This company clearly has a track record for poor service.Desired SettlementI want a full refund of my purchased price.Business Response We are typically scheduling 21-30 days out for service. When we scheduled Mr. [redacted]'s appointment, we had no forehand knowledge that it would rain for the entirety of the week. Mr.[redacted] did use profound and abusive language, as if we could stop the rain. The call was on speaker and there is a witness to the call. Once Mr. [redacted] calmed down, he decided he DID want to reschedule, however, we are a Christian based company and do not tolerate abuse to our staff. He was directed to contact [redacted] for a refund. Had he read the fine print, he would have known that we do not service clients during inclement weather. We aim to deliver a professional job and not just a job. [redacted] will have the final say as to whether he received his money as we at Shine My Ride do not receive any funds until jobs are complete. We are sorry that Mr. [redacted] felt justified in attacking us for an act of nature, but we do not and will not accept abuse or rudeness. If he honestly believes he handled this situation correctly, he is welcome to hold his own opinion. Did he honestly believe we wanted to be out of work for a week? We have own financial responsibilities and need to work, but we also need to deliver a professional job as we have a reputation to uphold. Purchased (2)[redacted] coupons for mobile car detailing. Scheduled appointments and nobody showed up.I purchased (2)[redacted] coupons to be used for (2) mobile car washing services. Called to schedule and an automated machine at the business indicated that the appointments needed to be made thru a service site called [redacted]. I made the appointments but they were scheduled out several months in advance. My first appointment was scheduled for today, August 8th at 11:30. I called the business yesterday to confirm the appointment but never received a call back nor did anyone show up to perform the service. My other appointment was scheduled for Monday, August 11th but feel certain nobody will show up for this appointment either. [redacted] won't even refund the full amount of my transaction.Desired SettlementI want this business to be put out of business. There are multiple complaints about them online that state they don't honor their appointments and they are a scam. They should not be allowed to practice in NC.

No show, no call for 2 appointments. No return of calls.When trying to contact via primary listed 877 #, no answer only voicemail, no return of calls. When calling primary local 919 #, it has been disconnected. Two appointments, Saturday 6/28 and Saturday 7/5 no show, no call. Multiple complaints on their Facebook page for the same issues. I purchased a voucher for an autodetailing service and booked an appointment on May 9. The service was never provided, but the voucher was cashed.I purchased a [redacted] voucher for an auto detail service in March. When I booked with the company's online scheduler, the first appointment I could get was in May. I booked that date and received a confirmation email from the scheduling website. The day before my appointment, I received a reminder email about the appointment. I tried to call the company at the number on the website to confirm in person, but no one answered or returned the call based on the message I left. No one arrived at my home as scheduled. IN ADDITION, someone in the company marked my [redacted] voucher as "used" a full 10 days **BEFORE** my appointment (it was marked as "used" on April 30). I filed a complaint with [redacted] and they informed me that someone at Shine My Ride claimed that they came to my home and no one was there. That is a lie - I was home well before the scheduled appointment and for several hours afterwards. I see their reviews on [redacted] and can infer from those reviews that this kind of behavior is standard practice for them - not showing up and not answering calls. This is fraud. It is a criminal act. I am in the process of getting a refund from [redacted], but do not believe this company should be permitted to continue operating by using these fraudulent practices.Desired SettlementI want a refund of all money I paid for the voucher, and I want it refunded to my credit card. I am also filing a complaint with the [redacted] because their practices are fraudulent. They are committing a crime by selling these vouchers via [redacted] and not showing up to deliver the services as scheduled (see the MANY reviews testifying to this practice on [redacted]).Business Response It's [redacted] new policy to mark the coupons redeemed when you schedule the appointment to keep track of the coupons that's why your coupon was redeemed in 10 days before your appointment I am sHowing that a truck was at your address for 18 minutes on [redacted] system I am sorry But [redacted]has theY have the final say in all refunds we have nothing to do with their refund policyConsumer Response All I can say is that this company is outright lying about being at my home. I was home one full hour before my appointment and never left. They were never there. You can choose to believe them, despite the long history of complaints about their fraudulent practies ([redacted]) or not. I will file a complaint with the [redacted] office next.[redacted]

Phoned, emailed and texted to schedule car detailing that was pre-paid through [redacted] No response other than wrong number.Purchased [redacted] voucher no. XXXXXXXXXXXXX on March 7, 2014. In early April I went to their website to schedule scheddar service. Calendar booked beyond expiration date, so I emailed to ask how long they would extend the deadline. No response. I called and received message that no voice mail was set up. Received text asking who I was. I responded that I was trying to reach shine my ride and received a response that I had the wrong number, which is exactly the number advertised on their website. This place is a scam and I want my money back. $68!Desired Settlement$68
