I feel that I need to respond to this complaint The complaint and has also stated that I was not present on the job which is trueI did send out a reliable crew which works for me for quite a long time, and I expect the job to be done to my standard as per protocolI contacted my insurance agent, and he advised me not to file a claim, as there could be multiple factors that lead to water in her basementNot knowing who did her grading, drain tile, Or any other work on her property, I feel that it is my right to not file a claim on this as I was not present and I did not have negligence in this matterShe still feels that I need to file a claim, and I can proceed from there

I am rejecting this response because: This is an unacceptable response from the owner of a business who claimed to be there personally the day the gutter was cleanedSent me a text message with a picture mind you and stated "that it is running free & clear"He never once indicated he sent out a "reliable" crew only to tell me he wasn't there when I presented this situation to himI haven't had water in my basement in years! He is absolutely not taking responsibility as a business owner and for his crewAs far as grading goes, The down spout exits on a hill and runs away from the house at a degree pitch and the grading is steeper as gets closer to the streetIf he says he was never present, then how would he even consider this a grading issue when he has never been on the property? When you are a business owner, the people you employ are your responsibility, damages incur are your responsibilityThe job was not done satisfactorily. Do you not check the point of entrance AND the exit points to see if debris has been removed? This is what you were hired forOr is your protocol do substandard performanceI want a claim filed with your agent immediatelyI am entitled to compensation to replace the carpet and paddingI will go to the Commissioner of Insurance and file a complaint there as well
