Ship4Less Reviews (%countItem)

I received package to my US Ship4Less address. After receiving, I ordered to prepare the shipment and sent it to my home address in Saudi Arabia. I ordered also to dispose original packing to decrease the size of the shipment. They prepared shipment and sent it but after I receive the shipment I found Ship4Less didn't dispose original packing and the dimensions they used to calculate dimensional weight is not true and there is a manipulation of excessive paper padding and they did not totally comply with my requests that were going in only one direction, which is to reduce the volume of the shipment.

Hi

Hope this email finds you well

Our company's policy is strict about removing the original packaging for items that might get damaged during International shipping. Our goal is to get your items to you safely. We remove the original boxes for non fragile items like shoes, clothes etc.

Removing the original boxes can damage the items, that's the why we only do it to certain items. In your case, we don't remove original packing for items like the one you shipped to avoid any damages.

Thanks for understanding

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: you have to be honest with yourself and your customers. Attached is a previous shipment and dimensions are customized and the total dimensional weight was 0.86 LBs. Also from the photo, it clearly shows that the box can easily contain additional pack without changing in dimensions. It is last time I reply to your justifications. You are kindly requested to refund 5$.

Sincerely

Hi ***

Hope this email finds you well

As we mentioned before, even if we use the box you suggested in the attachment the dim weight will be 2LBS. Carries take the outside dimensions of the box, they also round up any fraction of an inch. So the final chargeable weight will be 2LBS as well. Boxes are NOT customized per order, they are in certain sizes and we use the best box.

We know how how frustrating carriers policies can be, and we are sorry about that. It is not our policy at all, it is FedEx's, DHL's and Aramex's and we get charged for that. We are always honest with our clients and we strive for perfection. We refunded you for your last issue even though we didn't make any mistake and FedEx backed up our answer, we just did it for you as goodwill gesture. So we are sorry but we can't approve a refund as we didn't over charge you. You were charged for the right amount based on the policies published on our website.

Thanks for understanding

I bought some stuff from Amazon and forward them to my address with Ship4Less then asked them to send them to my home address in Saudi Arabia. They usually bill me with higher number between actual weight and dimensional weight. After my request to prepare shipment, they calculated actual weight which was 14.2 lb and also dimensional weight which was 23 lb (17*14*13) and I paid 90 USD.

Today 6-2-2020, I received the package and calculated dimensional and found that the dimensions were 16*13*13 which means that I have paid for fake weight of 3 lb then after that I contacted Ship4Less and provided them with pictures of actual dimensions of the package. Unfortunately, their response was very negative.

Hi ***

Hope this email finds you well

First of all, we would like to thank you for your consistent use of our service. We are honored and we promise you to keep developing our services.

Secondly, we are super sorry about the issue you has. And Please allow us to explain why were you charged for it.

Shipping carriers (FedEx, DHL) charge for the higher of actual and dimensional weights as you said. They measure the dimensions when shipments arrive to their stations. Unfortunately, these companies ROUND UP any friction of an inch. If the length of your shipment 16.1'', they will measure it and charge it as 17''. Same as W and H.

FedEx always scan shipment and update the weight and dimensions to the tracking number. We don't control these info, they are based on what their scanners read. If you look at the tracking number for your shipment, then click on "Shipment Facts". You will see the dimensions that FedEx's scanners scanned. Attached is a picture.

Hopefully this explains why you were charged for that much.

Please don't hesitate to contact us or reach out to us. Again, we value your business and we are super happy to serve you.

Best regards

Hi ***

We are sorry to hear that, and we promise you that it is never about "fake weight" at all. We treat your shipments as uf they were our own.

It is really a carrier policy in which a fraction of an inch is being rounded up to the next inch.

We are sorry again, we have no control over this policy.

And as a good will, we will refund you the $7 you asked for.

Best regards
