Review: I purchased a car from the Shirley Auto Group in February 2013. Less than two weeks after purchasing the car the car started to make weird sounds

I took it back to the service department and the problem was fixed. Then by the end of May I was driving home from work and my car started blowing out white smoke, shaking and leaking brown fluids. I took it back to the service d cepartment who told me that the car was rusting under the hood and that there were a few problems that needed to be fixed immediately or it would make my car worse and it would not be drivable. I called the agency where I purchased the car and they told me that it was not covered by warranty and that I would have to pay for it out of pocket. When I spoke with the service department they told me that the rust was already there when I got

the car. I checked the book value of the car on blue book.com and the book value is $903 I'm paying almost $10,000 for this car. It is not worth the book value

. I believe that they are at fault for selling me a faulty car.Desired Settlement: I want all of my money back that I've paid towards this car.

Review: Shirley auto group sold a car that I put a deposit on. I was there on 8/*/2013 and by Monday 8/**/13 the car

Was already sold. False advertising. I don't understand how this car dealer can

Do that when I was in the process of being approved by one of their banks. Now they tell

Me I can have my deposit back when they get around to it. They also have all my info,

With regards to drivers lic, social security numbers, bank statements and ECT.Desired Settlement: I would like an immediate refund for the $250.00 deposit I put down on a vehicle that

Shirley auto group sold under my nose. We went to the dealership on a Thursday, by Monday they had

Already sold the vehicle we had a deposit on. My wife and I were also in the process

Of being approved by a bank to get a loan. This dealership is unethical and now

Telling me that they will return my money when they get around to it.

Sincerely,

They did the same to me sold a car I gave them money to hold it cause they said give us x amount and its yours to follow up 3 days later to let them know was still interested in the purchase that wed. Tues I go in to reassure them ill be there wed to get it. To get there wed only to find out someone had an imaginary phone call with me saying I decided to go elsewhere and believe me I am wishing I did. In desperite need of a car they have me take a look at a different truck with 147,000 miles aggravated and needed a vehicle I signed off on it with the promise that there would be a warranty due to my concern of mileage. Now three days after signing for the vehicle theres a familiar sound of hub bearings going bad also brake sounds. Did the run around with the shop parts will be in 2-3 days 3rd day wrong parts are sent it took them a full week to get my hub bearings fixed also after them saying the brake pads were fine took it upon myself with my knowlege of working on my own brakes to take a look myself. Rear rotors were bad so finally get into the shop yest were the owner happens to go up while im there after feeding me the b* story of oh thats normal for brakes to make noise its the type of pad...thats like my looking at a blue sky telling me its purple so while at the shop he proceeds to say ok they say you needs rear rotors and pads owner cant afford to put the money into it because of how much they had gotten paid from the bank on the loan so offers to split it with me.hmm ok owner took a large hit out of deal gee did they calculate how much of a hit im taking for the deal no I dont think so. So a day after of the front hubs being done by thier shop that same familiar sound of bad hub bearings are still they after informing their shop that it is the rears was informed shirley auto group paid out of pocket now my common sense after speaking to a representitive at s a g. I am being told that its pretty much a hands tied situation at this point...ha only had the truc k for 2 weeks now due to the. Mileage there is no coverage by lemon law however thankfully theres always a complint available at dmv to to saftey negliegance with the bad steering due to hubs. So yeah im done with there games and whatnot.

Review: After having the car for three weeks the check engine light appeared. We brought it to the dealers "service department" to read the check engine light and had a complaint that the car was having some hesitation when accelerating from a stopped position as well as a slight band when the vehicle was placed in reverse. The oil sensor was replaced for the second time and the mechanic stated "Transmission shifted into reverse with no problem. Tech drove the vehicle and did not feel and hesitation on acceleration and could not duplicate the problem." Ten days later the check engine light was on for the third time since we purchased it a month prior and was returned to the "service department" for the same issue. At that time a tune up was required as well as another oil change, the third one in three weeks. Eight days later the check engine light came back on. there were more issues with accelerating from a stopped position. On that trip to the "service department" the car had the oil filter replaced as well as new oil put it. Yet again the transmission issue was pushed aside with "nothing wrong." Prior to the vehicle being out in our possession when it was purchased the front struts, steering rack and outer tie rods were replaced. Three months later the vehicle again returned to the "service department" for a check engine light. This time it was the B2O2 Oxygen sensor that needed to be removed and replaced. New brakes and rotors were needed. The right front caliper needed to be replaced. The brake hydraulic system was bled. The front sway bar end links were removed and replaced. The right front lower ball joint was removed and replaced and the left front tension strut was removed and replaced. Yet still nothing was done for the No power on acceleration that was still a complaint. Less then a month alter the check engine light was on AGAIN!. We brought it to another mechanic who read the codes and we were informed it was the O2 sensor again and was told that is the reason he car is having issues accelerating. Three weeks later the car would not come out of first gear. The car sat in our driveway for three weeks while we waited for an appointment with the service department at Dodge. Upon their inspection of the vehicle the transmission needed to be replaced and several spark plugs. Upon calling the warranty company only $2000 out of the total $3600 it would cost to replace the transmission would be covered. After speaking with the warranty company they advised us to call the dealership where we purchased the vehicle because they did not sell us a power train warranty as stated on the receipts they gave us for the contract. Upon speaking with the dealership there was nothing they could do for us to resolve the issues we have been dealing with for the last 7 months. The car that was sold to us was no means in a state to be sold!Desired Settlement: Refund for the amount that was paid out to purchase the vehicle as the amount we asked to repair the car would have been accepted by us prior it was denied when we asked them to fix the problems and were told to purchase another warranty to cover the issue.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Shirley Auto Group, Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: My name is [redacted] and I have a huge problem with shirley auto group. It all started back in Feb when we were looking to buy a car and not having perfect credit I was recomended to see [redacted] the owner of Shirley Auto Group and Fix It auto care down the block where [redacted] has his office. So me and my fiancee went down there to look for our car and [redacted] the manager greeted us and we told him we were there to see [redacted]. He went into his office and came back and said he was told to take care of us. SO me being from Poland and only living here for a short time I told my fiancee to do all the talking. [redacted] first told us what car we were buying and pushed us into this huge problem. First we sat there for 5 hours and I was sold a car that was worth $3500 for $8000 we later found out bec when it came down to signing the documents my fiancee was call out of the room by [redacted] to look at a car and I was just told sign sign sign and were done. BUT thats not the big problem yet I allso bout a car that was back in the shop every weekend or 3-4 days at a time for huge problems 1 week after purchase. This went on for the first 2 months and thecar still has MAJOR problems. NOW THE HUGE PROBLEM we were sick of this car and both companies owned by [redacted] so we went to a dealership to see if we could trade the car in. WE were told by two different dealerships that WE CANT SELL THE CAR PRIVATELY OR THROUGH A DEALERSHIP BECAUSE THERE IS ODOMETER PROBLEMS . So they gave us the print out of the odometer history and on one reading THE MILEAGE GOES BACK NO FORWARD!!!!!!! So we then decided to go back to see [redacted] but he is nowhere to be found because of a death in the family.....Regaurdless of the death in his family the show must go on so we sat down with his Manager [redacted] also his nephew and was told we got [redacted] big time and the only thing they would be able to do is replace the car or get money back this was on a WED....He said [redacted] would call us by the end of the day FRI......Today is Sat and no call so I proceeded to call them to find out whats going on and was told [redacted]s not in....I then received a call 1 min later from mike saying they cannot do anything for me just try to fix it.....Now I did my homework with the DMV and Legally and its 100% illegal to see a car to ANYONE without disclosing an odometer discrepancy they claim they knew nothing about ( either way thats hard to b elieve and wrong) And now there telling me im stuck with this Huge problem of a car thats still running horrible leaking more oil then gas I put in it and my payments are $370 a month for 2 years that I cant sell EVER!!!

ALSO [redacted] TOLD ME AND MY FIANCEE IF HE KNEW WE WERE THE ONES BUYING THIS HE NEVER..... HE NEVER WOULD OF SOLD IT TO US( AND IT PROB SHOULDNT OF BEEN SOLD AT ALL) SO WHY SELL IT???? AND THE MANAGER [redacted] WAS FIRED 5 DAYS AFTER OUR SALE...

PLEASE HELP ME I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO

Thank You for your time

[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want an exchange or my money back for down payment and all payments made
