We came home on a Sunday evening to our A/C not working and the house a toasty degreesWe called another company who was more than happy to charge an emergency service fee of $He proceeded to tell us our blower motor was bad and we would need a replacement...OEM parts, day wait and a install price of $We called Shiver Air to get a second opinion....they gave us a price for an after market install of $We asked them to come out to complete the work and double check the issue, much to our surprise the motor is fine and only a set scew was the issueNeedless to say the issue was then resolved very quickly and we now have ACShiver is professional and timely
We have been customers of Shiver Air for the past 11-yearsThey have always treated us fairly and honestly!!! We recently signed on with a home warranty company and had to call them when the A/C stopped workingOf course another A/C company was called in and they did nothing, except say we needed a new system!!!! hmmm Valerie at Shiver went out of her way to provide us with all the necessary documentation to the warranty company regarding the upkeep of the system She was truly awesome
Shiver hired for HVAC workRepeated corrections to work needed, sent additional invoice for incorrect work repairedVerbally abusive toward client Shiver Air was hired by our contractor for HVAC work in our home Work done by Shiver employees the very first day had to be corrected by the architect The work that followed included delays in installing covers due to not ordering the proper sizes, the thermostat being improperly mounted and most importantly, the air not functioning due to improper thermostat installation Most of the invoice was paid at at the beginning of Shiver's work, within hours of the company's request We withheld $until proper completion of work as customary The next day, we found the air in our home was not workingHaving been assured it was by Shiver and contractor the day before, we requested Shiver come out and fix what they should have installed correctly as hired to do so My husband also noticed that the thermostat had not been mount
