Recently purchased (10/2018) a started Griffon from Shock Kennels and per the contract she was supposed to be wormed, micro-chipped, have all required vaccines, and be registered. She was full of worms and we had to get treatment within a week of picking her up. She was not micro-chipped. Still awaiting Rabies certificate to register her in home city. Still awaiting AKC registration paperwork. Pup was severely underweight when picked her up.
Scott Henry is not responding to messages, emails or phone calls for the last 2 months...recommend you search elsewhere for pups and a trustworthy breeder.
03/2019 and have not heard from Scott Henry
Bought our Griffon Sept 2018. Unwisely didn't get the papers when we got the dog. Now won't get a return call or email to get dog's papers. Very frustrating. Have called/texted at least 5 times.
Get your papers when you get your dog! Hope you never have to communicate with them
Review: On October 16, 2013 we purchased a Wirehair Pointed Griffin([redacted]) from [redacted](Shock Kennel's) & [redacted], [redacted]. When my husband first seen her he noticed something wrong with her eye. [redacted] told my husband she got a seed in it & he was putting drops in it. He went hunting with her for a few days noticed she wasn't hunting like a fully trained hunting dog should be. He just thought maybe it was her eye. On October 20, 2013 I took her to our vet. The vet said she had a rolled in eyelid a hereditary condition. [redacted] needed to have surgery to fix it. Gave her drops to help with the irritation. Mike (my husband) called [redacted] to tell them what the Vet said. He agreed to pay for the surgery. On October 29, 2013 [redacted] had surgery on her eye. (11/2hours from our home). The surgeon told us to go through Revdex.com to try to get them to pay for the surgery, since it's illegal to sell a dog with this condition. The surgeon also stated if [redacted] would have had her vet checked he would have known she had a rolled in eyelid. On October 29, 2013 my husband emailed a copy of the surgery bill to [redacted]. After several phone calls & email's we have not heard anything from him since. Very disappointing for all of us. My husband saved two years for this hunting dog then to have this happen. It's not like we can just drive to Montana from Wisconsin to get our money. Very poor way to do business. I want everyone to know he doesn't stand behind his dogs. I hope you will be able to help us get our money back. Review: A $3000.00 deposit was paid on a to be fully trained hunting dog in April of 2015. In Oct We were to go pick this dog up and learn her hunting calls.plus pay another $3000.00. [redacted] of Shock Kennels was to call Me and give Me a weekend to do so...I talked with him in Sep...and he has never called back....I have made phone calls sent emails & mailed letters with no response. Mr [redacted] has broke our contract and I would like a full refund of the $3000.00. My next step is legal action.Desired Settlement: Refund of $3000.00 deposit put down on dog (River)
This sounds like my story and have not yet recieved money back...cant seem to get my help with from authorities in the area...even though I was told his web site would be taken down...its still up...If any one is thinking of buying from this kennel take some advise DONT DO IT
