Shockoe Bottom Tires

Review: I went to purchase some tires from Shockoe Bottom Tires and there was a sign posted in front of the business that stated, NOW OFFERING $50.00 2/W ALIGNMENT WITH (2) OR MORE PREMIUM USED & NEW TIRES. So I purchased 2 brand new tires for $110.00 each for a total sum of $235.20. After I purchased the tires the employee told me that I had to make an appointment with their Hull Street store because they didn't perform the alignments at the Shockoe Bottom store. So he circled the phone number on my receipt. After leaving the store I phoned the Hull Street store and the person who answered said, the guy who performs the alignments is not in today call back tomorrow. I called the next day and was told that he wasn't in again. I asked when will he be in and he said, I'm not sure I think he's sick. Then he said I'm going to find out what's going on so that I will have an answer for you when you call back. I called back the next day and he said we can't give you an alignment and I said I thought you were going to find out when the alignment guy will be returning he said I don't know yet. I said by the time I get my alignment my tires will probably be worn down. I waited about 10 days and called again and got no answer from either store. Later I carried a tire from one of my cars that was flat and got it plugged and I told the employee there that I hadn't gotten the alignment for the tires I purchased on 3/2/15. He stated, that's not my problem we don't have anyone to do no alignment. I told him thats false advertising your company can get in trouble for that. I also said the only reason I purchased new tires is because of the discount on the alignment, then I asked him for his boss's phone number but he didn't give it to me. So I took pictures of the sign and the business name and address. He asked why was I taking pictures and I told him because that sign is false advertising and I'm going to see what could be done about it.Desired Settlement: I feel that they should have honored the discounted alignment even if the owner had to perform it because it is his company and he is the one who is responsible for advertising.I feel that a reasonable settlement would be if I paid for a 2 wheel alignment elsewhere and they paid the difference. That way I would still get the alignment for $50.00. If my tires are worn before I get the alignment they should give me 2 more new tires.
