Our conclusion is that the flex fuel 5.3L engine will move into the leanest possible idle after a certain amount of time configured which may feel like a very slight stumbleThis is also an active DOD (delivery on demand) engine where it will switch to vmode when commanded shutting cylinders
downThis can be felt by the driver if you pay very close attentionYou might notice it after sitting in the vehicle in only park position for over 2-minutes or driving down the road with light throttleWith the very high emission standards of today's complex computer operating system if there is any misfire or fuel air related issue an error code will be flagged in the system immediately causing an engine lightSo with the truck road testing completely normal, no engine light, no pending codes, no misfires and fuel trims right on target We decided to perform every possible system check to make sure everything was operating correctlyThe tests performed including misfire counter, fuel trim and flex fuel sensor verification and reset, compression test, leak down test, osensor test, pressurized intake system with smoke to check for vacuum leaks, and all drive ability tests possibleEverything was right in specificationWe also replaced all the spark plugs, wires and cleaned the throttle body and mass air flow sensor free of charge After all this *** still did not seem satisfied so we recommended to him to get a second opinion by bringing it to the dealer or another repair facility*** said that he didn't want the truck anymore and was looking at SUV's on the lotWhen *** fist came on the lot the only truck with a high enough book value to absorb over $in negative equity rollover from previous car deals he made was our Silverado crew cab with 89K miles he purchasedHe traded in a Ram quad cab with 59K miles No SUV on our lot is priced $under retail so there is no room to absorb the negative equity We have done everything possible to make *** a satisfied customer and hope that the technical information provided will help resolve any uncertainties he is feeling with his new truck

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have attached two screen shots of the harassment set forth by the owner of the business simply because he cannot handle the fact that he is in the wrong, and by me putting a complaint online put his reputation at risk! I did not come into his establishment wanting an SUV, you can ask Judd *** his precious finance manager, I came 100% for a truck When I was to the point of being so fed up with the lack-thefrom his establishment I reviewed his inventory online and saw no trucks that I would be interested in, but would have settled for one SUV on his property To comment on his statement of "if you're paying attention to it, you'll feel a slight stumble" you can sit in any seat of my truck at any given time idle for seconds or idle for minutes it doesn't matter you'll feel that engine rock It is significantly more than "slight" This is what has been driving me crazy from the start because this mans brother is the service manager and he vocally admitted to me while sitting in the passengers seat that he could feel it!!! This man is a liar, and a completely unprofessional businessman As you can see from my screen shots I submitted (and if you didn't get them please let me know ill resubmit them) he is a complete lunatic and cares not one bit about the customer! When I finally answered his call on Sunday night he instantly started swearing at meThis man has no integrity The sad thing is I would have gotten a second opinion on it, but not at my cost! It shouldn't be the expense of the customer when his shop isn't doing the job He makes it seem like he went so far out of his way putting stuff in the truck free of charge, when in all honesty that's only decent thing this man has done for me since I've bought the truck Negative equity or not, my trade in doesn't matter, why he is bringing that stuff up is simply because he has nothing else to bring up in this matter A deal was a deal and the deal stood at a me buying a quality truck and that's not what I got! This man threatened to come to my home and settle this like men! Something needs to be done to this ***

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Regards, *** ***

We had a complaint filled against us on 2/1/16 that has completely been taken care of per the customers request.  Even before the complaint was filled we had every intention on satisfying the customers requests.  Is there any information that I need to supply to the Revdex.com at this time...

?  I do not want our name and reputation tarnished by this complaint.  I am referring to case # [redacted]. Please let me know if there is anything I can or need to do at this point. I am very sorry for my tardiness on the paperwork portion of this whole ordeal. The vehicle was repaired to the customers satisfaction and all of her demands were met 2 to 3 weeks ago.Thank you for your time,Thomas [redacted]General manager Tecforce Automotive LLC[redacted]
