dropped off wmns boots to have a zipper repaired, was told it needed replaced. had my boots for 51 days. Wrong color zipper but in and poor quality. Dropped of wmns boots on 2/18/14 to have zipper fixed. I was told it needed to be replaced. they kept both boots-I called several times to see if they were ready to be picked up. Finally I called and they were ready - no one called me. I picked them up - zipper was wrong color and poor workmanship. I didn't compare the boot zippers - she only showed me the one that was done. I call back the next day and she fussed at me and hung up on me 3 times. I only want my $51.31 back. Desired SettlementI just want my money back. I spoke to[redacted] and she was very rude. They should have called me to tell me they can't get the same kind or color of zipper - or told me when I was there. I would have never left the boots with them. You don't hang up on customer! Period. I want my $51.31. Business Response when this customer dropped off her boots at my business on 2-18-14 I advised the customer that I would be replacing it with a brown zipper with gold brass teeth, that would be the closest I could match to the existing zipper. my other store in another location add been burnt(arsoned) to the ground on 2-21-14.. so I yes I was late getting it done, however I had it done, and it had been sitting at my store for a good month finished. the quality of work was impeccable! the customer when she picked up the pair of boots she absolutely loved them. not one word of dissatisfaction from her. she raved about how good and nice it looked. now, about 2/3 days later I get a phone call from this customer telling me she was mad that the zipper did not match and that I did poor work. I in turn responded to her that I was not the manufacture that I could not match identical teeth on the zipper I was a shoe repairer. she was told this when she initially dropped them off and was quite okay it. she then proceeded to use profane language at me and yelling. I informed her that I would not argue with her, she continued being rude and ugly with me so I hung up on her. she kept calling me back harassing me to the point that I would not answer her call on my business phone. the price of the zipper was 35.00 plus local tax not what she is stating 51.31. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)SHE wasn't the one I dropped my boots off with and I wasn't told she couldn't get the same zipper for the boot! If she had told me that I wouldn't have left my boots with her!! She is lying about all of this. I called about my boots every week until they said they were done - 3-4 days after they finished I picked them up. I wasn't raving about any work she did on my boot! I didn't cuss her out! I couldn't get a word in at all because she kept hanging up on me. I kept calling back because she kept hanging up on me. I was charged $51.31 for the work and can prove it! Not to mention the zipper she put in doesn't even unzip at all. I'm having to take the boot to someone else to fix what she did. She keeps saying what she told me what I dropped them off - She wasn't even there when I dropped the boots off! And the guy that was there said absolutely nothing other than what it would cost and took my money. I'm not stupid - if she was there and did tell me all of this I wouldn't have left the boots. This woman is lying to cover herself. I can send a picture of the poor quality of work she did. It is atrocious. I have showed it to my attorney and he agrees that it is unsatisfactory work. I would never RAVE over poor quality work. Final Business Response As I have stated prior, I am not going to argue or debate this any further in regards to this customer and her obvious disillusion. If the boot was in the atrocious state in which she claims, WHY did she not state as such when she picked them up? NO, because she was QUITE HAPPY and COMPLETELY SATISFIED with them. That is why! Further to state that I am lying to cover myself. I have nothing to lie or hide to cover myself. Give me a break!!!!! Really!!! She was told upfront what I was going to do, she was fine with it. She paid 35.00 for the work that is in question now. Obviously she had other work done besides the zipper to cost 51.31. I charge 35.00 per zipper plus tax. The Revdex.com should have a list for BAD customers who are NEVER HAPPY or SATISIFED and want something for nothing! I viewed my video, and YES, when she picked them up, she left the store a HAPPY CAMPER!!!! NOT a UNHAPPY ONE!!!!! I AM NOT STUPID OR IGNORANT either!!! NOW SHE IS HARRASSING ME!!!!!!! AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THIS MATTER IS CLOSED! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!

I carried my shoes to be repaired on 12/08/2015 to be picked up on 12/11/2015 by three o:clock pm. I get there the place is closed, with note.They advertise same day repair, I had three pairs of shoes the cost of $12.95 per pair she told me they would be ready by 12/15/15, I told her I needed them by 12/11/2015 she said ok after 3 pm. I go to pick them up no one is there, I needed my shoes for a special event. There were several people there to pick up shoes at that same time after 3 pm, I came from Walls MS one lady came from Senatobia, MS. and the price is way to much for three pair of shoes it cost me $41.57 that I had to pay in advance, she has my money but I don't have my shoes for my event.Desired SettlementWhy would you tell you customers to pick up their shoes when you knew you would not be their you should refund them a portion of their money back, but I guest that's why you get your money before you do the job. That is not very good business. Business Response I had informed this woman that her shoes would be ready Dec.XX XXXX after 4pm. Not on Dec.XX XXXX after 3pm. the shoes were done and ready on Dec. XX XXXX after 4pm as agreed. I had informed this woman that I was booked with customers ahead of her and that the same day service was not available that day... I had apologized to her for any inconvenience and informed her that she was more than welcomed to take her shoes to another cobbler... She tried to bribe me by trying to give me extra money to do her shoes before the 50 to 100 customers before her... I again informed her NO, that they would be done on Dec. 15,2015 after 4pm. She then chose to leave her shoes with this knowledge.... On the matter of my prices that I charge... If they were too high or overpriced again she had the choice to go to another cobbler.. Which she was politely told this again.. So this woman chose to leave her shoes and pay the cost to repair them knowing that they would be done on Dec. XX XXXX after 4pm...Now the reason my customers prepay is the fact that I do not repair shoes for free... If a customer does not prepay, he/she don't come back to pick them up, therefore I am stuck with the cost of material, time, and labor of repairing the shoes that never get pickup.... After 30 days if they are not paid for and picked up, after I have notified them. They are then donated to the shelter for physically and mentally abused children and women here locally,,, this is why my customers prepay.... I have a faithful, loyal, awesome clientele base that I have worked hard and built up over the past several years, some of whom have followed me from one location to another, and that continues to return to my shop... My clients love my honesty, integrity and knowing the high quality, craftsmanship and love I put into repairing their shoes... This woman was pushy, rude, disagreeable when she was dropping off her shoes, in fact I was shocked and surprised that she left her shoes to be repaired,,, Upon picking them up, again she was very rude ... She is a very bad customer!!!!!!Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)That woman is a chronic liar, she said NONE of that stuff she said she said. I was not rude, I had no reason to go into her establishment being rude and if I was complaining about the cost why would I try to bride her with more money. This woman never said you can carry your shoes someplace else because she told me they would be ready on 12/11/2015 at 3 pm. I went over to Subway restaurant next door to her shoe shop on 12/11/2015 and inquired about her being closed, they informed me that that is what she does, they also said that several other customers of hers had been over seeking the same info. I had the ticket that she gave me that said wed @3 pm. I no longer have that ticket because she needed the ticket to get the shoes and of course she kept it.If by chance you ask her for the ticket she will make out a new one I'm sure, I put a phone # on the back of my stub that was the phone # that was listed on their website 662 something. Like I said I can't prove any of this but I did prove something to me. That woman is crazy and she has a problem with honesty. I said or did none of that. She said or did none of what she said she did. Honesty, integrity and customer services you don't get out of a cracker jack box. That's where that woman got hers. Good luck to her loyal customers.
