Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because Ray admitted in his response, "I told him to come to my shop and get the receipt and $himself." He did not honor this verbal and now written agreement. As Ray directed; I came back to his shop and asked for the $ Ray responded, "What $10.00"? I then reported him to the Revdex.com. I am still willing to stop in again and collect the $10.00, shake hands, and wish him well
Sincerely,

Dear [redacted],This letteris in response to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint.  Mr [redacted] was referred to me by the [redacted] in Kapaa. The sales person at the store said to Mr. [redacted] that I repaired[redacted] sandals for 35.00. He called my shop and told me what the sales girl said and that he...

was bringing his sandals in for repair.I never gave him a price because I don't give prices over the phone and I never agreed to a 35.00 repair. When he broughthis [redacted] sandal'sin I could see that he put his sandals
in the oven. It shrunkhis soles and the straps came unglued.Itneeded a lot of work to restorehis sandals. He said he neededhis sandals quickly since the one's he had on were worn out. I was kind enough to fix his sandals that day so he could pick it up
the next day. What I did for him was not a 35.00 job nor was it a 45.00 it should have been more.I was nice enoughto charge him only 45.00. When he camein his mind was set at 35.00. When I told him the price was 45.00 he said the sales girl at the [redacted] said 35.00.I told him this is my shop not her's.He payed the 45.00
and left swearing. He left without his receipt. So he called the next day asking me to mail the receipt to him and I said I would.  In that phone call he said I agreed to 35.00 and I told him I never agreed to that price.                                         ... Inever mentioned a price to him because Idon't give prices over the phone, especiallyif I don't know what isinvolved in the repair.  He was persistent in his attitude, out of frustration  with him,Itold him to come to my shop and get the receiptand 10.00 himself.I immediately  calledthe [redacted] and askedto talked to the  sales girl. She wasn't working that day, so I spoke to another sales girl.                                         ... I told her what happened and that the sales girl's should not be telling customer'sprices because there is no set price on repair's and prices depend on the extent of the damage.   AfterIthought about it I never agreed
to 35.00 and if anyone owes him 10.00 it should-be the sales girl from the [redacted]. When he came back to my shop I just gave him the receiptfor 45.00. I feel I don'towe him anything and if 1 wanted to be hard on him he owes me more than 45.00 for the rush job and extra work I did on his
oven baked [redacted] sandals, which Imade look like new. I corrected his big mistake.                                    ... I feel he is ungrateful and I don't need customer's like that!Sincerely, Ray D[redacted] Owner
