I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Job should have been completed before Mr Sholler's illness.  When he accepted down payment he indicated job would be finished before March.  There has been plenty of time since Mr Sholler's illness to complete this job.  Mr Sholler has repeatedly told me that he would finish the job and does not show up.  In the last three weeks he had two workers here for three hours who made no progress.   Have written records of promises to start job and work to completion March 14, March 29, April 3, April 10, April 17, April 25, and May 8.  He told me about his illness May 15.   More promises to finish the job May 22, May 30, July 10 and July 14.  I received many other verbal promises during those dates as well.  At that point I stopped wasting my time by contacting Mr Sholler.It is just shy of six months since he received down payment.  I have no reason to believe that he really intends to finish this job or that he is not continually putting other jobs before this one.

They didn't show up so I called and left messages each day until I heard back Monday 9/11. I informed them that I had a lawn service scheduled on Friday 9/15 and if it wasn't going to get done I needed to reschedule the service. I was told it would definitely be done before then. On Thursday 9/14 it had still not been done so I called and said it was too late to reschedule the lawn service and was told that they would have the gate in before noon on Friday 9/15. I got a message in the afternoon of 9/15 from the lawn service that they were unable to access the yard because there was no gate, they charged me $42.80 for the service anyway. So I called Sholler's and was told someone was sent in the morning so he didn't know why it hadn't been done, he was going to find out and call me back. I didn't hear back so I called again each day until Wednesday 9/20 when he called me to tell me it was finally done. I have checked the work and it has been completed.
