Shoney's Of Morgan City

I visited the Shoney's restaurant on 5-25-16. I was greeted warm and friendly. I was seated and when I went to get my food I noticed all the spoons were big, so I asked the lady putting food on the bar if I could get a smaller spoon. The lady, manager named Ginger, whom I didn't know was the manager asked if I wanted "a tea spoon or a tea spoon" I really didn't understand why she said teaspoon twice, so I said a tea spoon. I didn't know there was a long and short tea spoon, she said sure I will get your waitress (Margaret) to bring it out to you. When Margaret brought it out I then noticed and understood why Ginger said it twice it was the long tea spoon, but I wanted a short spoon to eat my food. I asked Margaret respectfully if she could bring me the small teaspoon. Margaret want to the kitchen and said loudly as if she was discussed with me after only talking to me for less than a minute and said " oh now he want a small spoon". That's when I went to the front and asked for a manager. It was the lady the I originally asked for the spoon. I preceded to tell her what happen and before I could finish explaining the situation she kept interrupting wanting to tell me that's why she asked "tea spoon or tea spoon". I asked her please let me finish. My problem is not with the misunderstanding of the spoon size. Mrs. Ginger (manager) was nice and friendly from the beginning. My negative review is because of Mrs. Margaret for being so rude and disrespectful. All of this took place within five minutes before I could take one bite of my food. It goes without saying I didn't enjoy my meal. I recommend that Margaret be more respectful to others and realize she applied for that job as a waitress. Do it or quit! I don't recommend that she be fire because I understand we all need to work to make ends meet, but I want this company to realize that solely because of Margaret actions this negative report was filed with the Revdex.com.
