Dishonest biz
I'd just shipped two vintage dolls to this buyer, who presently has an eBay handle of smallfamiliar2728. (Note that eBayers are allowed to change it every month so let me add that these dolls were shipped to ShopAirlines on Santa Fe Ave. in Redondo Beach.) This outfit ships the items it purchases to customers in Japan. Maybe at a markup. Anyway, I received an eBay message that buyer opened package to find one of the two dolls' eye fell out.

Next step: would I like to offer the buyer a discount or have the buyer return their purchase for a full refund plus pay for the shipping from CA back to RI ($13). I was incensed since the way I packaged the dolls there was little chance an eye could've come loose. (And of course an eye is easy to glue back in place after sending me photos of missing eye, right?) Not a chance was I extending a discount offer to a probable dishonest customer so I ate the shipping. Dolls came back w one doll eye in a baggie.

I was mad at myself for even doing biz w ShopAirlines bc my first instinct (and as a longtime eBay seller of a couple things or so every month) was not to. Why? Primarily bc they had over 60K reviews and not one was negative or neutral. Really? Something fishy in state of Denmark. Also the rampant complaints about them all over the web. I advise NOT selling/shipping anything of great value to ShopAirlines of Redondo Beach, CA. I didn't trust them from get-go, and have now also blocked them. (And gave eBay a piece of mind for still allowing this company to buy on eBay given the complaints on the web about ShopAirlines -- complaints that go back to 2010! eBay sucks! Their greed = neither protecting nor siding with their sellers.

Sorry but learn how to ship better. I used to work there for 2-3 years. Left last year. Everything is recorded and if an employee were to break it management would see it and take a loss. A lot of times these vintage dolls are horribly shipped. People use trash, egg cartons, empty coffee cans, diapers(not used) as packaging. If you dont want your item to break during shipping learn how to pack it.

Professional Scammers Protected by eBay
This "company" purchased my buy-it-now within 20 minutes of posting. Buyer provided special shipping instructions. Followed their wishes and 10 days after delivery eBay sent me as message indicating the buyer wanted a refund as the item was damaged in shipping. eBay gave a series of demands for getting the buyer their money back---including me paying return shipping. eBay is protecting the unethical behavior of this company as they automatically deducted the return shipping cost from my bank account and then threatened to do the same for the refund amount if I challenged the the buyer's allegations. THE PROBLEM HERE IS eBAY! The seller is pretty much helpless with this scam operation. Block ShopAirlines from bidding on your items. If they are the successful bidder, refuse to complete the transaction.

eBay is complicit in their enabling thieves and scammers to defraud eBay sellers. As another eBay seller, we have experienced several such events. eBay is betraying the trust we sellers have put into them. We pay eBay for their service, they overcharge in their costs they charge us when we sell. We pour out our time and labor and put our merchandise on their site for sale and make every effort to be very thorough in our description of the merchandise. eBay ignores our pleas when we give them proof that the buyer is a fraud, a liar and a scammer..and eBay keeps our money or pulls it out of our bank account to refund money to the fraudulent buyers, and they also make us pay for return shipping for the products the buyers choose to ship back...and even then, when the buyer sends back damaged merchandise they damaged or empty boxes, eBay refuses to listen to us sellers in any case where the buyer demands a refund. Even beyond that, eBay tells us to purchase insurance and signature proof of delivery, yet when we do that, they deny our claim when the order gets lost or damaged. eBay sits on a pedestal high above the rest of us and has made profits from our labors and remained immune to any accountability for their careless lopsided business practices.
eBay has failed to recognize that they would not be in business if there were no sellers. We have lost our enthusiasm and trust in eBay because of their abuse of their powers in our online business relations with them.

Horrible scammers
Do not do business with these crooks, at any cost.

BEWATE: SCAM Purchased Roma Boots from me through Ebay, INKED them and then requested return as damaged
so he could get FULL refund PLUS
return shipping!!!
I have a NO RETURN POLICY, so, he couldn't use BUYERS REMORSE to get a just refund.
Since that transaction, he changed his name from amerikan_22.
He is DBA (doing business as) the airlines america, and buys 300 items a month but since you cant leave NEGATIVE feedback for these unsuspecting scoundrels, I am using social media.

Shop Airlines America, Inc. is a scam company that will buy items from you on eBay and then damage the item. They will force a refund on you with eBay and try to keep the item! Avoid this company at all costs!

Shop Airlines is a re-shipper. They send stuff to Japan that are purchased by a 3rd party. You can research this company Shop Airlines and see that they constantly file claims with the seller for damaged items after they arrive out of country. This is after they inspect the item in the US. and re-ship it overseas. This company is responsible for the item after they receive it, but after they re-ship the item they then scam the original seller by sending out a standard email saying the item is damaged and demand a partial or full refund. Even if the company tries to say item was damaged in shipping that is not the original sellers responsibility. This is even mail fraud. Once they inspect it and re-ship it, the shipping damage falls to the new shipper! Do not let them fool you will excuses. If you have had a problem with them you need to post it and file with all proper authorities. They have only made it this far, because sellers write it off rather than do the right thing and take the time to write a few emails. They have dozens if not far more ebay accounts so they can hide from sellers they have scammed years ago..

I'm a long time Ebayer and it is disturbing that I have to add this Disclaimer going forward. Due to the previous transaction, Large Business such as "Shop Airlines America INC" bought an item from me on Ebay, they had some special shipping requirements for their warehouse which I followed. Then 16 days later I get a return noticed that the package was damaged during the delivery. When I received the package, the seal was remove and it appears they tried to hide it with basic duck tape. I provided the refund and lost about 50.00 in shipping fees cause of this. I cannot guarantee the item will remain "Mint in Box" at that point stored in a warehouse for 2+ weeks. It is not fair to the seller especially when they obviously open the merchandise before asking for a return "Abusing Ebay's Return Policy" "#Lesson Learned"

This company is totally unethical. They bought merchandise from me on ebay and then asked to return it because "their buyer no longer wanted it." I do not accept returns and advertised the merchandise as such but stated on the ebay case that I could consider a return if the merchandise was unopened and they accepted a 15% restocking fee. I stated that I would refund the original purchase price minus 15% restocking = $136. This company agreed to the terms and I have that in print. The merchandise was returned and I refunded the $136 as agreed.
This company was asked to close the case. Instead of closing the case, this company went behind my back early in the morning and escalated the ebay case. Ebay promptly refunded the remaining balance including initial shipping costs, despite our agreement in print on the ebay case with a $136 refund.. I am out around $50 (includes initial shipping costs) at no fault of my own. This is a dishonest and unethical company.
