Shop-Hers, Inc.

My retirement from Wall Street and our recent move from Manhattan where my husband I lived and worked for over 25 years to Florda was the impetus for me to clean out my closet (drastic lifestyle/culturefashion change). I set up my closet at Shop-Hers 2nd week in January, 2015 shortly after I stumbled upon their site on Facebook. It was a breeze as I have set up closets at a couple other similar sites. Made my first sale a couple of weeks later. I feel more protected here both as a seller and buyer. I made multiple purchases after my first sale. The one aspect of their platform that I most appreciate, aside from their excellent customer service and flawless facilitation of transactions is that new, non-VIP sellers are required to ship directly to Shop-Hers for inspection, authentication and such. After item passes muster, it is then shipped to buyer and after a one-time process of banking info confirmation, funds are deposited directly to seller's bank account. Seller need not deal with buyer's remorse, authenticity issues, etc. This way, dubious buyers have no way to get around loopholes in return policies. When Shop-Hers approves and sends out sold items. Seller gets paid. Period. I am considering signing up for their "VIP Experience" but I feel that the percentage they take is above average. However, personally speaking, I do enjoy, have the technology and the skill set (extensive fashion/Brand knowledge, writing, etc.) as an extensive collection of premier Designer shoes, purses accessories and clothes. I decided to opt out (for now). However, I do appreciate the fact that VIP sellers get more exposure, therefore generate sales much, much quicker. Will keep you posted.
