To whom it may concern,The first contact we received from [redacted] was on June 26; however this was just a missed phone call, as she did not leave a voice message and we don't typically respond to just missed calls, as you can imagine we get quite a few of these. She then contacted...

us again on June 29, leaving a 1 minute voicemail, which our employee [redacted] returned that same day, if not within 48 hours, as is our companies standard practice. We told [redacted] that that all graduation DVD orders were being shipped out that week, and if she would like to receive tracking information to please provide us with an email address. In trying to look up her order, however, we could not find it and knew that our system had made an error, which occasionally does happen. We sent out an email to the email address she provided over the phone ([redacted]), explaining this and asking for an address in which to ship her DVD since our system did not save her order, however we never heard back from her email regarding the situation (Come to find out the email she provided us [which we repeated back to her over the phone to verify] was different that the one she provided you). Then several weeks later, on July 11, she called back again because of course she had still not received her DVD. We called back within the hour and explained the situation to her again over the phone, that our system had made an error and we just needed an address to ship out the DVD, but she refused to give us the address as she demanded a refund. We explained we would have to send out the refund in the form of a check anyway, and would still need her address to mail that. Unfortunately, she also was being uncooperative and would not provide us proof of purchase (i.e. her original receipt or a copy of her bank statement showing the deduction from us from her account), and without this we could not issue a refund, but rather we would still provide her with the DVD. We also explained we were out of the office until the week of July 20, so we would ship out her DVD then. Upon arriving back to the office, our employee [redacted] mailed out the graduation DVD  on July 22, to the address she finally provided us ([redacted]). Tracking information shows the DVD was delivered July 25 at 1:50 pm in/at her mailbox (USPS tracking # [redacted]).At this time, we have provided her with her product as it was sold. Unfortunately there was a delay in providing it, and we apologized for the glitch in our system. However, we consider this issue resolved, as she now has the product in hand. Thanks,RT Productions

Review: I purchased a bag from Shopaholic Outlet for $313. I was informed that the bag was an authentic Louis Vuitton bag. I just recently found out that the bag is a replica. The store is now closed, but I talked to a former manager. This man refused to help me and was very unprofessional. He stated that this store was ran by an organization that no longer exists.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate a full refund of this bag.

Business

Response:

The business was closed a year ago, this was a consignment shop that took items on consignment as this customer is aware of. NO Lous Vitton was ever guarantee at our shop as we are not qualified nor any employee was not qualified to authenticate. We did talk to this young lady and she could not tell us who even sold her the purse!

Response:

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I was told that it was an authentic Louis Vuitton being sold to me, which is the only reason I paid $313 for it. Now, one year later, I have found out that the bag is a fake. I was lied to, fraud was committed. I do not remember the name of the employee that sold me this bag, and I am not sure how that is even relevant.Somehow, some way, I would like a refund of the $313 I spent on this bag. I would not be making a big deal of this if I had been told that the bag might not be authentic, but the employee who sold me the bag told me it was authentic.

Regards,

Review: I took my wedding dress to be consigned here at shopaholic outlet for $300 in october 2013

I have called every month to see if it had been sold. The woman told me to come pick up my dress...and I tried to do so last thursday. (June 19). When I got there, they had no record of my dress being there. I found it on a rack and said that was my dress. I even had pictures (but the picture they said wasnt good enough). I called my lawyer and set up an appointment to take them to court. They would not even release a copy of my contract. They said the contract wasnt even in their store it was at their accountants. I facebook messaged them "better" pictures of my dress and left a voicemail Tuesday for them to check their Facebook and find my dress by friday. I called back this morning and their new voicemail message says not to leave a voicemail because it wont be answered. This business has no clue how to document anything. I will probably not even get my pink bag I brought the dress in with back. I have someone wanting to buy my dress and I cant even get it from the store. This is THE worst consignment shop Ive ever seen. Its worse than a [redacted] shop.Desired Settlement: I want my dress back with the pink bag it came in or a bag of theirs immediately so I can sell my dress

To whom it may concern:

I am responding to the complaint filed against our store 6/27/14 @ 9:51 ID # [redacted] ACCOUNT # [redacted]

LYNCHBYURG, VA 24557

[redacted] is listed in our system as being a fist time consigner her contract is dated and signed 1/4/2014 it lists that the item on consignment is one wedding gown priced to sell in the shop at 199.00 and has been on the 50% off rack for 2 months now and still did not sell.

On June 19th 2014 Ms [redacted] entered the shop and spoke directly to me [redacted] She told me she was here to pick up her gown that was on consignment but had not sold yet. I asked Ms [redacted] what type of gown it was size & color she replied “it’s not white it was a size 8 but cut down to a size four I think “I then asked her if she had a photo of it this way it would help me assist her in locating her dress with in our bridal shop with over 500+ wedding gowns. She had a cell phone photo of a photo that was in a glass frame with a bright flash reflection, [redacted] made it difficult to see the details needed? Not to mention she was holding flowers to her chest area. I looked up her consignment account number [redacted] is attached to each consigners item with a price in 2 different locations on the gowns. I told her lets go and locate the dress being Ms [redacted] told me this dress was altered to a size 4 I started looking for the dress in that area I did not find a dress with her consigners number in the size 4 location I continued to look 5 ,6 7,8 areas at that point Ms [redacted] says here it is this is my dress. I thought great I then looked for the tag’s [redacted] were not located on the dress to tell me [redacted] of the 1200+ consigners dress this one gown belonged to plus it was a size 12 not a size 8 cut down to a size 4 like Ms [redacted] first indicated. I asked her if she had any other photos that can help me see the dress better she told me no that’s it the marriage only lasted one year and no one took phohots she said she knew it because it was dirty from the floor from her wedding. At that point I told her but this is a size 12 you said your dress was an 8 cut to a size 4 . That is when I told her I will be right back I went into the rear of the store to check through the gowns back there to make sure her dress was not one of those we have in the back. Upon my return Ms [redacted] was gone she left the store leaving a threat telling my partner [redacted] that she would have her lawyer back to get her dress. Ten minutes later she came in demanding a copy of her contract in w[redacted] we do have with her signature on it. We explained to her we wanted to be 100% sure the dress was her gown before we would release it for her own protection. Before she left the shop she was in 100% agreement and understood we were looking out for her own good she told us prior to leaving she would try to see if she could get another photo that will help make this 100% sure it’s her gown instead of 85% sure for our own protection we sure would hate to find out we gave her the wrong gown that really didn’t belong to her after all. We have not heard back from her nor has she come back by with another photo but that gown is sitting right here. After she filed this complaint with your office we did receive a phone call from Ms [redacted] on 6/27/14 in w[redacted] she then forwarded us a better photo of her dress in w[redacted] provided us what we simply requested her to do right from the start. Ms [redacted] can print out the photo she emailed us and come sign the proper documents needed in order for us to release the dress and close her account.

Thank You
